Three cheers for Donald Trump, who like a lion with red meat tightly clamped in its jaw, is not letting go of the “birther” issue. Even though he’s focusing on the circumstances of Obama’s birth instead of the fact that Obama’s purported father was NOT an American citizen (he was Kenyan), Trump is bring major attention to the matter. Potential 2012 GOP presidential contender Donald Trump is doubling down on his call for President Barack Obama to produce a birth certificate, saying “facts are emerging” that have raised a “real question” as to whether Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve as president.
Trump said the president has spent “millions of dollars” in legal fees to “trying to get away from this issue.”
The billionaire’s remarks came Monday morning in an exclusive interview with Fox & Friends co-hosts on Fox News.

“Now this guy either has a birth certificate or he doesn’t,” Trump said. “And I didn’t think this was such a big deal, but I will tell you it’s turning out to be a very big deal. Because people now are calling me from all over saying, ‘Please don’t give up on this issue.’”
This is making the Left crazy, as well as the RINOs who have sniffed condescendingly as they waved away the issue with remarks like “that ship has already sailed” and “it’s not a winning issue” and other disparaging comments implying that Americans who question Obama’s background are “birthers”, i.e. kooks, tinfoil hatters, and conspiracy freaks.
Birth this. Rush Limbaugh is all over this, spending a significant part of his last half hour talking about it. And the number of news outlets reporting on it is off the charts. Keep talking, Mr. Trump. Keep talking.
