“Clearly, his message is resonating with large segments of the Republican base.”

. . . . .

Despite what the RINO beltway boys (including Ann Coulter, the female version of beltway boy Rachel Maddow) and the crew at Fox News say, Jeff Kuhner tells it like it is and knocks it out of the park.  As show prodcer Dave “ThirdWaveDave” Logan might say, “Waveland Avenue, baby!”

In his weekly column at the Washington Times, Kuhner explains how the game will be played in the months ahead. Who will win at the end still remains to be seen, but my money’s on Trump and not the media elite occupying the sleekly appointed red and blue sets in what passes for fair and balanced “news” rooms.

Donald Trump’s potential candidacy for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination has forced the issue of whether Barack Obama was born in America into the mainstream, a question the establishment media has been frantically avoiding. Mr. Trump is demanding the president reveal his long-form birth certificate. The real estate mogul believes Mr. Obama is deliberately withholding embarrassing or damaging information.

He has ridden the birth controversy to the top of the GOP field. Many polls have Mr. Trump in second place, just behind former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Clearly, his message is resonating with large segments of the Republican base.

Even some liberals, such as MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, are calling for Mr. Obama to release his birth records. Hawaii’s Democratic Gov. Neil Abercrombie recently vowed to settle the issue once and for all. He sought to pressure state officials to prove conclusively that Mr. Obama was born in Honolulu. He failed. The records remain sealed.

But someone named Trump just served them a steaming bowl of “deal with it”. So now they’re trying to figure out how to score ratings without having to eat from said bowl.  The bald pate O’Bloviator and his colleagues of coiffed Kens and bleached Barbies now must — albeit reluctantly  — swim in Obama’s stinking stew, one that’s had nearly three years to ferment while they protected “The One” — the foulest ingredient of them all.

I think you’ll want to read the rest of Kuhner’s piece. It’s Waveland Avenue, baby.

  1. Andrea, I believe one very effective solution would be for some states to pass constitutional amendments that require all candidates to fully prove their eligibility before putting them on state ballots.

Properly worded, such amendments could prove to be a nightmare for Obama (peace be on him).

  2. In a poll yesterday by Newsmax, Trump had more than 50 percent of the votes! He was TWO-TO-ONE ahead of his closest rival: Huckabee.

The poll by CNN has a scientific disadvantage, because the only Republicans that still watch CNN are the ones that are indistinguishable from Democrats. Even with that, Trump is still the trump card.

I don’t agree with “The Donald” about most issues. (He calls himself a conservative, yet supports “a woman’s right to choose”.) But, on this issue, I applaud both his efforts and his results.
