Who’s in on the take?

. . . . .

From Narcosphere:

When it comes to prime intelligence targets, they don’t come much better than the leaders of Mexican drug organizations, who have their tentacles planted deep inside Latin American governments due to the corrupt reach of the drug trade.

So it is not unreasonable to suspect that part of the reason that ATF’s Fast and Furious makes no sense in terms of a law enforcement operation is because it wasn’t one at all.

You know, I’ve been thinking…

The narco drug trade is a very lucrative business.  People in a position to enable these drug cartels to engage in “free enterprise” (their protestations against evil capitalists notwithstanding) stand to make huge deposits of payoff cash into their offshore bank accounts.

What if we discover that some (many?) senators and congressmen along with White House officials are in on the take?  Would you be surprised? Is it too far fetched to imagine that DoJ, the very department charged with enforcing our laws — the Department of Justice and its top law enforcer, the AG — are in on the deal, making a fortune by allowing — enabling — cocaine and guns to spill onto American streets, all while protecting themselves by layers of cutouts that remove them away from the crime so that they can claim plausible deniability?

… Running guns into Mexico into the hands of criminals? There can be no objective to this but death, and lots of it.

The events in Operation Fast and Furious are eerily identical to those surrounding the arrest of General Ramon Guillen Davila, a CIA asset who was [indicted for] smuggling a ton of cocaine into the US [in] 1996, in what was described as an intelligence gathering operation, the problem being that no intelligence was ever gathered and that the ton was only one of many other similar shipments of cocaine that actually hit the streets of the U.S. by way of CIA agents.

If I were a criminal profiler, it wouldn’t take much to identify a CIA pattern here [with Fast and Furious]: A wacko, barroom commando, illegal operation that makes no sense whatsoever, run outside the control of law enforcement.

Just how dirty are these people?  Think about it —

“… the leaders of Mexican drug organizations, who have their tentacles planted deep inside Latin American governments due to the corrupt reach of the drug trade.

Is our government clean?  Are the tentacles of these leaders of drug organizations planted deep inside our government too?  How is it that our elected representatives who are pulling in a $175k government salary, end up with bazillions in net worth.  How does that happen? I suppose we could ask Dianne Feinstein, couldn’t we?  She knows. And how about the Clintons?  Or Nancy Pelosi?  Bet they know too.

Follow the money.  Let’s do.  And let’s see where this Operation Fast & Furious takes us.  Someone’s making a tidy nut in this deal.  Even if it’s just skimming the cream, taking their percentage off the top before the motherlode is paid to the masterminds at the top.  Guaranteed.
