While in NYC last Sunday evening, we traveled through Times Square.  Traffic was jammed up, and we were getting nowhere fast.  I asked the driver if this kind of traffic tie-up was typical for a Sunday evening.  He replied that it was unusual but went on to explain it was caused by all the gay weddings that had taken place that day and the subsequent celebrations happening in the heart of the city.

A few streets away, near Bryant Park where a movie screen was set up (the same park where Glenn Beck and his family were harassed last month ), we passed by hundreds of bicyclists dressed in nothing more than g-strings, jock straps, and birthday suits.  Why were they assembled?  Who knows?  It’s the new state of New York.
