Well, I finally framed two of the watercolor paintings I’ve done since I’ve been here in Maine. Something about being here stirs my creative side!
The top painting depicts the most photographed bridge in Maine – the Somesville Bridge. Standing on the bridge are my husband and my brother-in-law, who along with my sister, will be returning soon for a weeklong visit.
The bottom painting depicts a scene I photographed last year during a visit to the long abandoned but historic site of the Katahdin Iron Works.
I enjoyed painting both scenes, and have several more waiting to be framed and hung.
It’s #MaineLife !

Thank you! It’s my Zen space!
