Sorry, nope.

I had an appointment today to visit an optometrist for an annual eye exam. A sign on the door cautioned that anyone entering the office “must be masked.”

I ignored it and walked in wearing only a smile and bright coral pink lipstick. I noticed everyone in the waiting area was masked, including the employees, one of whom was pointing a thermometer gun at an incoming patient’s forehead. I was asked to sign in, and when I approached the counter, the masked attendant asked if I had a mask. This is how it went:

Her: “Do you have a mask?”

Me: “No, I don’t.”

Her: “I can provide you with one.”

Me: “No thank you.”

Her: “Oh. Well, you’ll have to wear one while you’re here.”

Me: “I’m sorry but I don’t wear masks.”

Her: “I’ll get the manager and you can tell him.”

Me: “That will be fine. I’ll wait.”

She hurries into an adjacent office and returns immediately with a masked man, obviously “the manager.”

He: “I’m sorry, but you have to wear a mask.”

Me: “I don’t have to wear a mask. This is an open state as ordered by our governor. Further, a mask isn’t healthy. And you don’t know if I’ve already had the vaccine, do you?”

Him: “I’m not going to debate you. If you want to keep your appointment, you must be masked.”

Me: “Thank you, no, I don’t think I will. I’ll leave and find another eye doctor.”

And with that I walked out.

I was trembling with fury, adrenaline rising, muttering unladylike f-bomb expletives under my breath at the absolute idiocy of these people who one would think with their medical training should know better.

I then drove to a shopping mall where I entered two stores, again unmasked. Most of the customers in both stores were masked up. I breezed past them, and no one challenged me.

That’s how it goes where I live. The retail and grocery store employees are weary of the face diaper themselves, and after a year of antiseptic wipe-downs, plexiglass separators and six-feet separation marks on the floor, they are worn down and “over it,” and don’t want the hassle of challenging me or anyone else spending money in their establishment sans mask. Yet the medical professionals who should know better DON’T, either because they are “afraid” of being sued should someone –god forbid — “catch covid” in their medical office OR they are abysmally ignorant of the facts.

I have a solution for those who persist on insisting on a mask policy despite Florida being an Open State. Simply have the patients sign a form releasing the medical practice from liability should they “catch the bug.” There. Problem solved.

Honestly, I just shake my ahead at the stupidity and alarming bovine obedience of so many who are still bending to the control or authority of Fauci, the media, and a half-wit demented “president,” breathing in their expelled bacteria and carbon dioxide for hours on end. Their kowtowing to the CCP – whether they realize it or not, is what scares me more than a flu virus. I’m making my stand. No. Correction: I’ve made my stand. No more. Nope.

  1. Texas had mask mandate removed last Thursday, I swear more than ever are wearing them, people are being extra rude if you dont have one. Lady in Galveston hurt and arrested for no mask. It is crazy, I don’t get people who can research to wear the mask and get vaccines. Makes me crazy. I am like you, I just smile and walk in. Think I have worn one maybe 10 – 15 times while took sister to hospital and dr. Only had 1 person confront me last May. So tired of people saying they don’t want to opposite other shoppers. I care more about my health then feelins of some stranger. If they don’t like it, they should stay home. In meantime I will continue going in and out of stores with no mask.

  2. The governor issued a mask mandate for medical facilities sometime last year. Been going to a chiropractor and there was suddenly a note on the door to this effect. They allowed me to wear a face shield instead. Once they take me back they tell me to take it off as they are all anti-mask. They just worry about losing their state license should someone squeal. I was denied access to a VA clinic for refusing to wear a mask. The face shield I was wearing was not good enough for them or maybe the Trump 2020 sticker on it ticked them off. Not much you can do with a federal cop sitting there so I walked out. Also went to a VA hospital last year and they made me put on a mask while sitting in my car at the main gate. Took it off after pulling away and wore it under my nose the whole time while inside the hospital without a problem.

  3. I am an optometrist. It never ceases to amaze me how little curiosity my optometric friends and colleagues have in educating themselves through such avenues as:

-The Epoch Times (which has done marvelous investigative journalism on the origins of the coronavirus)
-Dr. Joseph Mercola (who documents the studies indicating lack of efficacy of masking in the spread of upper respiratory viral infections, as well as the political agenda/societal changes being implemented through how this “pandemic” is being handled)
-Microbiologist Judy Mikovits (I’d recommended her “Plague” books to several colleagues; the recommendation went over like a lead balloon)
-Dr. Sherri Tenpenney (she clearly delineates the risks of the experimental MRNA shot which they call a vaccine; most of my colleagues eagerly got the shot)
-Robert F. Kennedy Jr and his site childrenshealthdefense.org (such a plethora of excellent vaccine information, yet evidently no interest)

Many of my colleagues, right up ’til the present, have been having their patients wait in the parking lot; the patient must call the office when they arrive; and then the staff unlocks the door, only allowing the patient in.

In contrast, in my office I give each person a handout highlighting how they can boost their immune system by taking Vitamin D, Vitamin C, magnesium, selenium and zinc. Plus I give them a handout discussing the MATH+ protocol of the FLCCC, highlighting the benefits of Ivermectin in treating the infection. I tell them about Dr. Mikovits’ book “The Case Against Masks: Ten Reasons Why Mask Use Should be Limited”, if we get into a discussion about these matters.

I’m disappointed in so many of my colleagues simply accepting without question the “Party Line” about all these matters, and not being very curious about potential problems associated with the “vaccine”.

    1. Thank you! A medical professional with common sense and the desire to research for himself rather than ingesting the spoon-fed pap by those with a nefarious agenda.

    2. Thank you! You sound like my chiropractor. Just this morning I said to everyone waiting “It’s so nice to see everyone’s smiling faces!”. He gives out similar handouts.

  4. We lost so much on 911. They literally murdered thousands of people and got away with it. They are murdering more with COVID not to mention the destruction of our God-given rights continues. The masks and social distancing need to go as do body scanners at airports and the rest of the GRU tactics.

They bury bodies 6ft down. That is the same 6ft used in social distancing.

  5. I have to still wear mask at work but mine has holes in it 🙂 and everyone says LOVE THE MASK.. I say I hate it . but when I go shopping nope don’t wear it but some look at me like hey .. but wont say a dam thing and I see others not wearing any so everyone tired of it .. but have to TAKE HUBBY FOR THIS THROAT THING > FRIDAY and am not allowed in have to wait in car when he goes under… which sucks can’t wait in the waiting room ..

  6. When you are refused access to a business due to not wearing a mask, you should get names of those who kicked you out and inform them that you will be filing a discrimination complaint with the DOJ. Then file the complaint. You can file anonymously. The more of us who do so, the less they will be able to ignore us. The grounds for the complaint are that they have discriminated against a person with a disability. The disability is not being able to breathe while wearing a mask – which is true for ALL OF US.

  7. Bravo!
By the way, Macy’s is a haven of mask Nazis as well.
I live in Texas (masks are no longer state mandated) and I went to my local Macy’s last week to do a return. I used the entrance within 10 feet of the return desk. Both employees were masked and behind a plexiglass shield. I handed them the return and they asked me if I had a mask. “No,” I replied. “Oh, you have to wear a mask.”
“Oh, I have an exemption,” I said.
“We don’t recognize exemptions. You have to wear a mask,” they retorted.
“I’m behind this plexiglass. I don’t even see another customer anywhere in sight. I’ll just do this return and get on my way.”
And so I did, but I will avoid buying anything else from Macy’s even online until this craziness stops!
