My daughter Lottie is at the age where she loves making crafts at the kitchen table. Sometimes doing a simple project together can illustrate an important lesson. Like showing her how oil and water can’t combine. She might not grasp the molecular chemistry, but she understands my biblical metaphor of “being in the world but not of it.”
Heritage just launched a new series called PolicyLAB, which uses classroom-style science experiments to help America’s youth more easily understand conservative policies. These videos have been an engaging way for our experts to humorously reach younger audiences. It’s hilarious to watch our Heritage staff struggle with the puzzles in each episode, but the games always end up teaching something insightful.
If you’ve been looking for a better way to talk to your kids and grandkids about topics like the economy, immigration, and school choice – the PolicyLAB series is great to pass along! Let me know what you think of the ones we’ve released. And your ideas for which policy areas we should do in future videos.
