The ragged edge?

Smart folks like Brian Cates (who I frequently quote here) do not suffer fools. In fact, they quickly lose patience with folks who aren’t at the same level of comprehension regarding what’s happening in our country, the causes, the players, the strategies, etc. etc.

It’s why he is short and often insulting to those who question what seem to him to be patently obvious.

He did it again just now. I get it. Many of us sometimes get exasperated with folks who are just “waking up,” tagging along (sometimes) far behind, and so I am reminded of an expression my late radio show producer/friend Dave “Thirdwavedave” Logan, an astute observer of human behavior who would say when I wasn’t understanding something eminently evident to him: “Do you need me to pull over until you catch up?”

I try to remember that when I’m ahead of many others who don’t have the leisure time or inclination as I do to spend hours each day reading and researching and listening to and writing about the output of those who ARE ahead of the curve in understanding what’s being done to take back our country.

If I have ever appeared to be rude or impatient to you, dear patriots, I apologize. And promise to do better.

Now that I have been totally exonerated on the Mueller Witch Hunt with a charge of No Collusion, I have often wondered, if a fake investigation is illegally started based on information provided and paid for by the DNC and the Clinton campaign, shouldn’t they be held accountable? Not to mention, wasting tens of millions of taxpayer dollars and interfering with years of a presidential administration? I fought the made-up Hoax strongly and effectively, and I won.

Then they fabricated, out of thin air, the fake allegation that I obstructed justice, and I won that too. Think of it, how can you obstruct justice when you were fighting a false and illegally submitted narrative?

This week I have been totally exonerated by the Inspector General in the clearing of Lafayette Park, despite earlier reports that it was done for political purposes.

And I have also been totally exonerated in Congress by the testimony of former White House lawyer Don McGahn. It came, it went, and it was a big “nothingburger.”

But fear not, the Radical Left, country destroying, illegal Witch Hunts continue, and I will win those too!

Cates followed up with this comment and meme: “Trump’s pointing right at Durham again.”

Cates’ post elicited several comments, some expressing doubt about the existence of the elusive Durham. Very quickly Cates ripped off a reply:

“I see stupid people once again wondering if Durham is real. Like, a real person. Too funny.“

That garnered a few readers’ observation that if one doesn’t agree with Cates, he insults them, to wit:

“Trump was being sarcastic when he asked if Durham was a real person. . Idiots took the statement seriously.  And trolls playing dumb only pretend they do.”

“The fact people were seriously asking if the public had been tricked by Donald Trump and Bill Barr into believing a prosecutor named John Durham existed when he didn’t is going to look unbelievably stupid when we look back on this time.”

Do you think the put-downs hurt Cates’ credibility? Or do you think that what he reports is credible, but his crusty attitude is a turn-off?

Would you continue to follow him, taking his research, opinions, and observations at face value, and ignore his seeming impatience and inability to allow his readers to “catch up” while he pulls over and explains?

No one likes being belittled, especially for asking a genuine question. We can all recall being put down for asking one.
