A friend who served three terms in the Maine State Legislature and is an avid scholar of legislative maneuvers and mechanics — AND the US Constitution — pointed me to this piece in the Wall Street Journal today. He spoke highly of David Rivkin, the co-author, describing him as eminently knowledgeable about our founding document. So, I read it, and thought YOU might want to read it too to learn why Congress is violating our Constitution with this debt ceiling business. The Fake News won’t tell you. Your Congressional Rep might not tell you either, as this is not the first time these Swamp shenanigans have taken place.
