After reading the above messages, I was pretty certain that something was amiss in the description of the actions taken by LIN WOOD, one of the finest Attorneys on Law and the Constitution alive and practicing today.
I looked up the organization who proffered this information…called OpenSecrets.org. Before 2021, it was an organization of 16 people, keeping track of donations to State and Federal orgs, showing the amount of donation, date and to whom. The donations listed do not include those made through political pacs. Only the first 500 donations are shown. These are clearly shown by date. As for donations made by Attorney LIN WOOD, ALL were to Republicans, ALL LISTED AS SENT BY ATTORNEY LIN WOOD OF LIN WOOD ATLANTA, GA, 30028;
THERE ARE (2) EXCEPTIONS AS FAR AS DONATIONS, BEING MADE TO Barack Obama on 01/27/08; AND 03/06/08 which are shown as GIVEN BY ATTORNEY POWELL GOLDSTEIN LLP BOTH TIMES, BUT COMING FROM THE OFFICE ADDRESS OF LIN WOOD, ATLANTA, GA 30328. THESE TWO DIFFERENT ATTORNEYS WERE PERHAPS SHARING AN OFFICE SUITE.
ALSO, IMMEDIATELY LISTED AFTER ONE OF THESE TWO DONATIONS BY POWELL/GOLDSTEIN OFFICES TO OBAMA, THERE IS A DONATION BY LIN WOOD TO DONALD TRUMP, (not the only donations to TRUMP BY LIN WOOD).
THE TWO EXCLUSIONS MENTIONED ABOVE DO NOT FIT INTO THE PATTERNS OF DONATIONS BY LIN WOOD TO ONLY REPUBLICANS, AND COULD HAVE BEEN MISCHARACTERIZED BECAUSE THEY CAME FROM THE SAME LAW FIRM, BUT FROM DIFFERENT ATTORNEYS.
THERE ARE NO DIRECT DONATIONS FROM LIN WOOD TO BARACK OBAMA AT ALL. NOT EVEN FROM THE SAME LAW FIRM, BUT FROM THE SAME ADDRESS.
OF INTEREST IS THE FACT THAT PRIOR TO 2021, THERE WERE 16 LONG TERM EMPLOYEES IN THIS FIRM OF OPENSECRETS.ORG, IN 2021 AN ADDITIONAL 17 EMPLOYEES WERE ADDED TO THIS ORGANIZATION, ALL DEMOCRATS, INCLUDING THE EXECUTIVE ADVISOR, ALL COMING FROM YALE, NBC NEWS, 2020 ELECTION, MAJOR LEAGUE HACKING (their description, not mine), FACEBOOK, ONE IS A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER, ONE IS AFROM SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERISITY, ONE IS A PROFESSOR (FELLOW) OF POLITICAL SCIENCE UNIV OF CONNECTICUT, ACENT ON CONGRESSIONAL ELECTIONS, VOTING TECHNOLOGY AND OTHER VERY DEEP AND INTERESTING SUBJECTS.
After reading through the simple bios offered on the new and older employees of this organization, these are very intelligent and influential people and the information provided seems to be crisp and clear.
It seems the presentation of LIN WOODS donations has been slanted in a very negative manner, wihtout merit. He is an attorney, having the finest reputation, and may certainly have had good reason for his decisions in the years past . I would not want anyone to judge me for my actions without having first hand knowledge of the entire situation and persons involved, especially being a practicing attorney at law. I find this entire matter a potential smear tactic and I hope accidential mis-use of already bent information that should not have been used in this unprofessional manner.
As you know, I’ve written many posts about attorney Lin Wood, all of them favorable. But this morning I read a few TELEGRAM posts by Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and an article she references about Wood and the Kyle Rittenhouse defense fund that has me thinking WHOA!

So happens, I donated to Kyle’s defense fund thru Lin Wood. If Lin Wood wants his money back then I want my money back from him. No wonder Trump never endorsed him.

Lin has clearly made many enemies, ones with evil and devious minds who have collaborated to try to destroy him.
Pierce is a criminal sociopath. That doesn’t need any explanation. He took the $2 million for himself.
Every single time I have not followed my instincts I have ended up feeling foolish. I’ve always felt Lin was being true. It hasn’t changed. There are people who are shills in the movement that have convinced some of his own followers that Lin is bad and that everything he’s done has been for himself. Jordan Sather is one of those who also criticizes others and he’s constantly critical of Lin – and he supports MTG.
One of the major issues, if not THE major issue, is that MTG has NEVER spoken out in support of the audits. EVER. That’s been eating at me for many months – for such a loud mouthpiece not to ever say anything about how critical the audits are. Along with that is her constant criticism of Lin. That begs attention. If that’s not highly suspicious I don’t know what is.
As far as Trump “not endorsing him” – There are optics that are used as part of the chess game. The governor of South Carolina is dirty and has had his dogs in the club join him in attacking Lin. If Trump showed overt support for Lin the governor and his pack wouldn’t expose their true agenda. Trump will catch them, that’s what he does.
Lin says he’s not perfect, he says he’s human and makes mistakes, unlike the evil criminals who want him destroyed.
FWIW I support Lin Wood.
The moral to this: Be careful who you follow and use critical thinking along with thorough research before coming to any conclusions.
