What began in late July with a profusion of tiny pale green-tinted buds that bloomed into creamy white clusters edged in delicate pink, has lived through the summer, pink becoming deep rose and later to rich burgundy, until now it’s last hurrah in red, orange and gold where it will please the eye until the first snow will blanket it until its rebirth next summer.

Lovely hydrangea.
