House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tested positive for COVID-19 after getting up close and personal with President Biden at the White House earlier this week — but the administration insisted Thursday that the 79-year-old commander-in-chief did not need to take extra precautions.
Pelosi’s positive test was the latest in a string of COVID-19 cases across official Washington. At least 14 lawmakers, journalists, administration officials and White House staff who attended Saturday’s Gridiron Club dinner in the nation’s capital have also tested positive.
Those affected include Attorney General Merrick Garland, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, Vice President Kamala Harris’ communication’s director Jamal Simmons, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas).
These messages may be signalling ‘the end is inevitable’ and they are all trying to find a place to hide. There are so many of them now saying the same words, so there is a meaning.
