Is there no end to Maine’s US Sen. Susan Collins’ stupidity?🔥🔥🔥

Apparently not. I’m shaking my head, but not as much as Maine’s senator is with her physical affliction… what the hell is she doing? Mainers, you really need to do something about her. She’s an embarrassment to your state. She’s either incredibly naïve and truly stupid, or she’s in on the evil. You decide.

Bannon is furious with McConnell for leading this surprise trip to kiss Zelensky’s ass. “Why is he not at our border? Why is he not doing anything about the fact that moms can’t get formula to feed our babies? Why is he not doing anything about the fact we have no diesel fuel?”

We are seeing the collapse of our complex system.

The Senate GOP delegation was in Kyiv just days after the Senate had a $40 billion aid package blocked on quick passage by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. The deal remains on the Senate docket for next week.

Susan Collins was among the Republicans who voted FOR the measure this past week (on Thursday).

U.S. Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) led a Congressional delegation to Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, CNN reports.

Driving the news: McConnell is the latest high-ranking U.S. official to visit the country amid Russia’s ongoing invasion. The trip comes as the Senate is weighing a $40 billion aid package for Ukraine that the House has already passed.

  • It was unclear if the meeting took place Saturday and if the delegation is still in Kyiv, CNN writes.
  • Joining McConnell on the trip were Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas), according to a short video Zelensky posted to this Instagram page.
  • The trip comes about two weeks after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) led a group of six congressional Democrats to meet with Zelensky.
  • First Lady Jill Biden made a surprise visit to the country and met with Ukraine’s first lady, Olena Zelenska, last Sunday.

What they’re saying: In a post on his Instagram account, Zelensky said that the trip “is a strong signal of bipartisan support for Ukraine from the United States Congress and the American people.”

  • “Thank you for your leadership in helping us in our struggle not only for our country, but also for democratic values and freedoms,’ he added. “We really appreciate it.”

U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell lead a Senate delegation to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Saturday.

The meeting was “a powerful signal of the two-party support of Ukraine by the United States’ Congress, as well as the American people,” Zelenskyy said in a Telegram post that was translated by NBC News.

Senators John Barrasso, John Cornyn, and Susan Collins were among the delegation, according to a video posted on social media. It’s unclear if the group is still in Ukraine.

Andrii Yermak, head of the president’s office, said the Senators discussed additional sanctions on Russia and Ukraine’s hopes that the Senate will pass a $40 billion aid package that’s already made its way through the House.

The U.S. has sent a handful of government officials to the embattled country in the past few weeks. Earlier this month, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi led a U.S. congressional delegation to meet with Zelenskyy, followed by first lady Jill Biden. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Sen. Steve Daines and Rep. Victoria Spartz have also traveled to Ukraine.

  1. “…two-party support of Ukraine” is uniparty, anti Trump, pro NWO support. From today’s revolver.news the magnitude of this funding is laid out:

The $43 billion is roughly three times the final cost of President Trump’s unfinished border wall with Mexico.
If this U.S. aid were a national military budget, it would be the 10th-largest military budget in the world, just ahead of South Korea and well above countries like Italy, Australia, and Iran. Even if one excludes the non-military portions of the package, it exceeds the defense budgets of Israel.
Speaking of Israel, this six-month aid package exceeds all U.S. aid to Israel over the past decade.
$43 billion is more than the cost of any of the first eight years of the war in Afghanistan.
$43 billion handily exceeds the current budget of the Department of Justice, which has some 113,000 employees. It’s almost double the budget of NASA.
