Matt Gaetz responds after Trump urges support for McCarthy: ‘Sad!’

Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz went rogue from his mentor, former President Trump, after the former president endorsed GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy of California for House speaker.

Supporting McCarthy is the worst Human Resources decision President Trump has ever made.

McCarthy isn’t even speaker and the lobbyists are moving in!

How many votes does he have to lose before he resides in a member office like the rest of us who aren’t Speaker?

8. As for these 19 members, are they more solid conservatives than Jordan, Banks, Donalds, Massie, McClintock, Palmer, Mooney, etc., etc.? No, in fact, most of they are utterly unknown backbenchers.
