NO it’s not who we are. We don’t want Palestine if that’s what it represents. It’s soo disgusting that most of the population have completely tuned it out. No one wants to even discuss the topic very different than previous conflicts.
The Middle East has long wanted to remove Hamas and alike as a political power, as well as the Palestinian authority. They are entrenched much worse than any dictator can be. The population has no say it’s tough and complicated. If it was up to Arabs they would have wanted Israel to remove the power structure long ago rather than the Tit for tat that occurs.
Solving the Palestinian problem would effectively remove the reason why 97% of terror organizations around the world exists. Iran Hamas al Qaeda Hezbollah etc. would effectively be useless no reason to exist. The deepstate controls them, it’s why they have power. So if Israel and Saudi were coming to some agreement, it would be in the interest of those organizations to make sure it doesn’t go through. I don’t think they will succeed. The feel in this region is they want peace. Hamas and the Palestinian authority have no place in the Arab world.
I pray cool heads prevail and while it’s understandable Israel rhetoric is let’s just say not good. They need to rise above it, stay professional, and not give the bastards any more reasons to use as examples.

It’s interesting, but in the end I put little faith in the opinion of 1 person speaking on behalf of an entire country of 30 million (A.J. for Saudi Arabia).
Also, in Islam it is encouraged to lie in order to advance Islam (taqiya) – the Koran even says that Allah is “the best deceiver” (compare this to “the best deceiver” in Christianity…).
Anyway, I’m not saying A.J. is a deceiver, and perhaps what he is saying is in fact an accurate representation of a large majority of Saudi Arabians (who presumably are relatively homogenous).
But I take what he says with a grain of salt (like everything these days, really).
