Capt.Seth Kessel has laid down his thoughts and I am with him 100%. I bet you are too.

“I am highly cautioning everyone who feels burned out or negative about the state of US politics to take a few days away. In the few occasions today and yesterday I’ve poked around on X for news and links to write my book and articles, I’ve just been bombarded with a stream of negativity. To be honest, it’s something I greatly struggle with, and here’s why:
Supporters HAVE to be able to levy criticism of the administration. If we can’t or won’t we aren’t any better than opponents we mock. When done fairly and over issues that are clearly understood, this is not only good for us but essential and practical for the administration, which can grow out of touch with the base if not actively engaged with them. In this sense, it may be wise for Trump to pull a rally sometime soon.
There is plenty of room for improvement and I agree with some critical voices that it is time to focus intensely on domestic issues ONLY for a while. In some ways, Trump’s successes have fixed problems that are no longer pressing. The border is secure, deportations are humming, and in fact some of the slow economic numbers are what they are because there are far fewer illegals sitting around in blue collar jobs. The problem is that American employers want to pay slave wages and won’t fill their positions with Americans fast enough. People are bitching about tariffs not understanding that they are a tool used to reorient demand to American products, and to reshore industry.
To poke around on X and read comments from people venting online all day, you’d think resignation was imminent and Dems were on the verge of winning it all for good. Meanwhile, every state is becoming more Republican by party registration every month and Dems just folded on a shutdown because they know they’re unpopular as Jasmine Crockett ponders a stolen 2026 election.
There are things I think are not good. I don’t like the H1B visas, I don’t like the 600,000 Chinese students, I don’t like being responsible for every other nation’s issues – but people have to start being more level headed and recognize a marathon vs. a sprint. Trump’s approval is 42-44% anywhere you look. This can spike with any good news, especially economic, and I have it on good authority the administration is listening to some of the critics.
One thing is for certain – X is a toxic wasteland and if you are hanging out on it and sifting through nonstop negativity and doom, its algorithm is going to ensure you see nothing but that, and you will become a chronically unhappy person. It is very clear to me there is a substantial info op happening online designed to demoralize the right and have the negativity multiply.”

I agree. Trump is not perfect and I keep thinking he may be trying to set something up. Like a bank shot in pool.
Agree. X has gotten very disturbingly violent. I don’t look anymore. It’s not worth it. God is in charge. Better to spend our effort praying and finding positivity in our surroundings. There’s alway goodness out there if you look for it.
I have my favorite X folks who I check in on several times a week. I don’t have time to mess around reading the hate and dissension, although I do see my fair share of it. But I tell myself those comments are bots, and then I move on to the sensible Xers. I really like TELEGRAM much better. There’s a higher intellect there, for example “Spitballers,” MJTruth and many others you occasionally see here on my pages.
