Balloon Rove is so Bush league

UPDATE –

From Newsmax – Trump Slams Karl Rove:

President George W. Bush and his key political adviser Karl Rove are responsible for the election of President Barack Obama, potential GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump contended during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Monday morning. Trump was responding to comments Rove made about his own allegations questioning the legitimacy of Obama’s birth certificate.

Rove, in an appearance on another Fox show, Greta Van Susteren’s “On The Record,” said Trump’s embrace of the issue has made him a “joke candidate.”

“Let him go ahead and announce for election on the ‘The Apprentice,’” Rove said. “The American people are not going to be hiring him and certainly the Republicans are not going to be hiring him in the Republican primary.”

Shooting back, the real estate mogul maintained there were real questions about Obama’s birth and added that he was “very upset with Bush because Bush had a really a bad period of time and he gave us Obama and Karl Rove was Bush.”

“I don’t expect that he’s going to love me, but Bush gave us Obama,” Trump said. “In all fairness to John McCain and Sarah Palin, nobody could have won. You could have brought back Abraham Lincoln, he couldn’t have beaten Obama at that time, because of what Karl and Bush had done.”

Trump has said that if he decides to throw his hat in the ring, he’ll do so as a Republican.

Karl Rove is a has been struggling mightily to remain relevant.  He’s yesterday’s news, along with the rest of the Beltway Boys (and yes, that includes the girls too) and he knows it.  It’s a new day, Karl.  Go retire and write a book about how “successful” the Bush presidency was under your tutelage.  Note that he’s getting bigger by the day. Comfort food?

  1. Go Donald. ! It IS surprising how heavy Rove is getting since he is putting out so much garbage lately. What is wrong with these people cannot they see that THIS is a perfect way to remove zero from the WH and nullify all the damamge he has wreaked on our Country. I want those people in jail!

  2. I just read on Newsmax the reply from Trump about the comments by Rove. Slam-dunk!

Trump is beginning to sound more like AIP material. Now, if he does commit to our platform, and if he joins AIP, then that would send seismic waves throughout the D & R party headquarters at every level.

I read yesterday where Trump has now declared himself to be pro-life. His prior support of abortions “rights” was a deal-killer for AIP leaders (myself included). Our party is 100 percent against abortion, while most Republicans have some compromises. I don’t know where Trump falls on the percentage line, but I’d sure like to find out.

If he were to join AIP, then a lot of FGOP contributions would dry up instantly, and start heading our way.

The only thing more dangerous to the status-quo than AIP would be AIP with money!

  3. True. But, that would not preclude him from using his high-profile status to encourage people to contribute to AIP.

Besides, we have a little surprise in store for the Republican Party….
