LEAVIN’ ON A JET PLANE…

… Don’t know when I’ll be back again.  Maybe Saturday night.  Maybe Sunday.  But whenever it is, I’ll be sure to post pics of the Wreaths Across America wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, set to take place Saturday morning.

The 18th annual event will begin with a ceremony/briefing at the McClellan Arch, and a special award presentation (shh…. it’s a secret!  Details later!)

Some 15,000 balsam fir wreaths will be placed against the white marble headstones of our fallen servicemen and women who lie in peace.

The wreaths honor American heroes from all wars and from all states and territories as they lie in eternal rest.

So my bags are packed, I’m ready to go, I’m standing here outside the door… hate to wake you up to say goodbye…   More later.  I gotta…  fly!
