I have always worked to utilize my position and influence for a cause greater than my own self interest. I am not a person who sits idly by when I see harmful policies forced on our nation. And I refuse to stay silent while watching the far left policies being enacted by the Obama Administration and the Congressional Democrats.
However, my ability to continue fighting for our values is being threatened by my primary election challenger. He continues to launch misleading attacks about my conservative record each day. My intention in this campaign is to fight back these attacks with the truth about my record of service and dedication. But to do this effectively I need your immediate support.
Last week, I wrote to you with an appeal in advance of our April 30th deadline. Our campaign will be making our next round of television and radio advertisement buys this week and have targeted to raise an additional $31,000 in the next 48 hours to meet our goal.
We face serious challenges as a nation, and I want to return to Washington to continue fighting for solutions to these challenges. As one of the leading opponents of Obamacare, I want nothing more than to continue fighting to repeal this disastrous legislation. I’ve spent my career fighting against wasteful spending in government. As our national debt stands at more than $12 trillion, I am committed to reducing this number so that we do not pass this massive debt on to future generations.
But to do so I must win the primary election. And as election day nears, we are investing campaign funds into our advertising campaign to communicate the truth about my record of service on behalf of Arizonans and all Americans.

I had actually intended to vote for Jim Deakin, but thanks to all the out-of-state interference in our state’s primary race, it looks like I’m going to have to vote for McCain just to vote AGAINST JD Hayworth. What a crying shame. We have a chance to get some fresh blood in the Senate. Instead, we’re either stuck with anti-birther McCain… or whatever Dem beats JD I-love-earmarks Hayworth in November.
