I caught this distinguished group of new media bloggers outside this morning’s General Session, and after chatting and making introductions, we posed for this photo. Warner Todd Huston writes for a number of online pubs, including Big Government.com. Jim Hoft writes as the Gateway Pundit, and John Schulenburg writes at Infidels are Cool. Morgen and John write for Verum Serum blog.
Seen in the slide show below are most of the speakers at the General Session, beginning with Mr. Aboud (didn’t catch his first name), a vice president here at The Venetian, who cited some startling statistics about how much money was lost as a result of Obama’s ill-considered (I’m being polite) remarks about coming to Las Vegas… or not.
He introduced Judge Andrew Napolitano of Fox News who delivered a remarkable speech filled with passion, anger, and hope. I’ll be loading videos as they come on line for those of you who might want to see and experience what we did. The Judge’s remarks are well worth watching.
In order of appearance: Tim Phillips, president of Americans for Prosperity Foundation; Ed Morrissey of HotAir.com; John Fund of the Wall Street Journal; Guy Benson, WIND Chicago (I think?); Roger Hedgecock, radio show host; Chuck Muth; Dr. Joe Heck, candidate for Congress (NV-3); Curtis Sliwa, founder Guardian Angels; Phil Kerpen, VP Policy, Americans for Prosperity Foundation; Kirby Wilbur, radio host and AFP Chair; Herman Cain, radio show host; Steve Lonegan, AFP; Sharron Angle, candidate US Senate NV; panelists Caleb Howe, Stephen Kruiser, Evan Sayet; David Jaget, Rightnetwork.com.
