That is certainly understandable.
Andrea, perhaps we really should launch a petition drive to get him drug-tested. (Even if it’s not successful, the heat that we generate could scare the leaders into policing their own a little better.)
Oh, wait… did I just use the word “leader” in reference to current Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi? And, did I just imply that the position of Democratic Speaker of the House — once occupied by felon Dan Rostenkowski — could somehow “police” fellow Democrats? (Has any of the Democratic Party “leadership” ever even TRIED to rein-in the admitted boy-banger Barney Frank? I happened to be in DC when the news broke that he was running a homo escort service out of his apartment, and was using his Congressional pages as the prostitutes.) What was I thinking??
