  1. This painting makes me cry because it is true to character and sickeningly accurate. When you understand that Obama was raised in muslim beliefs and that he is standing on the Constitution it is such an insult to America! In that culture, to show someone the bottom of your shoe is a deep insult. And Obama HAS insulted America repeatedly since he took office as president. The artist is very insightful and does excellent work, but it’s a shame he felt he HAD to paint something so sad.

  2. WOW!

That painting is brilliant on so many levels. Dottie described it well.

One of the things that stood out to me was that the flagrant Socialists — Franklin Roosevelt and Bill Clinton — were actually APPLAUDING the trampling of our Constitution. (Of course, the shills in the Lamestream News Media always referred to Clinton as a “centrist” — and so many people bought it.)

And, interestingly, the stance of “Dr. Hope” is turned AWAY from the plight of John Q. Public — even though the very essence of Obama’s campaign was that he would make things better for people like that. (Vladimir Lenin referred to them as “useful idiots”.)

Most of the presidents’ facial expressions reveal some form of “What have you done?!”. But, interestingly, both of the Bush presidents stand stoically, showing that they tacitly approve of Obama’s actions — even though they maintain the public facade of being “conservative”.

A picture really IS worth a thousand words — especially this picture.

God has really blessed that man with talent — not only in drawing and painting, but also in wisdom and historical insight. I hope that God will reward Mr. McNaughton with much income from his art.

  3. I have read and viewed thousands of E-mails from disgusted, disappointed, and even scared Amercan Citizens from all across this once Proud Country of Ours.
Mr. McNaughton’s work and word should wake up a sleeping Giant!
How long will it take to make us a Proud Nation Again? The United States of America that My Wife and I raised our three sons in, just a few years ago. (2 Attorneys & a Deputy Sheriff) We did our part, we had expected our elected officials to do theirs. May God help us!

  4. This painting is racist. Shame on the artist. I am an American, fourth generation born here in the good ol USA. Like my father berfore him were all hard working and served in the armed forces. To depict our current President of the United States stepping on the Constitution is applauding and unpatriotic. This certainly gives a very negative view to the terrrorist groups what the Amercian citizens think of their own country and government. Yes, sadly wants to make a person cry, to see and read how some Americans feel regarding their views for their own country. Let’s be positive. Another thing, place blame where it belongs like greedy corporate CEO’s, beginning with Enron. Shame on YOU! I will not send this video to anyone!

    1. HOW is it racist??

The current president (50 percent White, 34 percent Arab, 16 percent Black) is stepping upon the Constitution.

But, as noted above, a few former presidents (all of them all-White, as far as we know) are showing their approval.

How is it unpatriotic to show the truth?

The painting is REALIST, not racist.

  5. Like so many of my friends and family, we are concerned about the direction we are heading. Our children and grandchildren (should they live so long) will be so burdened with debt. Today they are taught so many wrong things, no belief in God, instant gratification, and they are only interested in themselves. They do not have a clue what our leaders are planning, nor do they care. I think your painting says it all. And the painting is not, nor am I racist. AND I am just a little tired of being called a racist if I do not like some of the policies of the present president. What was I when I did not like some of the polices of our past presidents?

  6. Shame on the artist it is so racist. My Family’s work hard to live the american dream. What real is the greedy of corporate america. Your painting is racist!! Some former presidents help send alot of JOBS overseas. The painting is not REALIST, it is RACIST.

    1. Apparently, her family’s version of the American Dream did not include spelling nor grammar.

And, in her version of reality, presidents — and not corporate CEOs — determine which jobs go where.

Well, to end on a positive note, at least she spelled “racist” correctly.
(Of course, repitition is the key….)

    1. The proper retort would be: “My spelling and grammar are not right. So what?”

Regarding the downward spiral of America, no further comment required.

  7. Racist, are you kidding me. Stop drinking the kool-aid and get a clue. This country has been on a downward spiral to hell ever since this man took office and it has nothing to do with race and its people like you that could give two licks about the damage to America he and his partners have caused. Lets silence the haters and send them home, ALL THE WAY HOME.
