Rush Limbaugh based his entire show commentary on it Monday and Tuesday. So did Sean Hannity, and several other talkers. The battle is raging between establishment Republicans and the new vanguard of Tea Party-endorsed conservative candidates. The conventional wisdom going into today’s primary race between incumbent and Washington insider Mike Castle and challenger Christine O’Donnell is that the Tea Party-endorsed candidate O’Donnell stands a good chance of unseating Castle for Delaware’s US Senate seat. Need proof? Look no further than Alaska, Massachusetts, and Nevada to see recent upsets.
Amy Kremer, Director of the Tea Party Express says people have forgotten what happened back in January in the bluest state with Scott Brown, a Republican, winning a seat that had been held by the Kennedys for decades. “Party politics is not what we stand for. We stand for principle.”
Precisely why I don’t listen to Rush or Hannity. They are GOP shills, like it or not, that is who they are. That is not who I am. 🙂
Interestingly, both Rush and Sean were on the side of the Tea Party conservatives, while drilling the establishment Repubs a new one.

I am looking for a clear list of what we (the tea party) stand for. I can’t find one anywhere. I think that info needs to be on the home page of every tea party website. I wanted to cut and paste it for Rev. Manning who doesn’t understand that we are on his side. He faults us for not pressing the issue of birthplace of Barry, etc.
As one of the center right Democrats that was shoved out of the party in the election cycle of 08, first we became PUMA then Tea Party-thank you Rick Santelli for your rant-which gave both voice and birth to a movement. Who knew? More and more in media I’m hearing Tea Party mentioned and credit to the more than you can imagine Democrats who are in it. Country before party always. I would like to thank all the various leaders of the Tea Party Movements and all the people who work hard behind the scenes, all those who attend the “parties”. I think you can figure 10-20 more supporters who could not attend. Love the Tea Party, we can and will take back the country.
