WASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation announces the following full committee hearing on Transportation Security Administration oversight.
Drudge is all over this. Rush has been talking about it throughout his show today. Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit has even more. (Be sure to watch the linked video of a TV reporter’s 3-year old daughter being “frisked” while going thru security. What if it was your child? Your grandchild?)
DHS head “Big Sis” Janet Napolitano’s response? In effect – “Tough $%^&.”
Glenn Beck intimated on his radio program this morning that Obama and The Firm could be doing this deliberately to accomplish two things:
1 – cripple our economy even more by hurting the airlines’ bottom line
2 – gain even more political control by appearing to “back down” from the scanners/groping “inspections” to position themselves so that when another inflight terrorist attack happens (and he’s convinced it’s just a matter of time), Obama and the Left media can point to the Right and say, “See? THIS is why we wanted to do screeners and groin checks”, thus blaming the Right for endangering Americans.
What do you think? Again I ask, how comfortable are you with the idea of flying if it means a choice of being groped or facing a $10,000 fine?
The internet is on fire with this issue. So are travelers and airline employees.
But not to worry, Big Sis has things in hand. Need proof?

Seems like the reverse is true here, the very people that were being protected against, is causing American’s to lose their freedoms.
I would consider an OPT-OUT of flying and let the airline industry battle the government. That is what the leftists have been doing for years, let the opposition do your dirty work.

This is exactly why I do not fly – anywhere. If I can’t drive there myself, I’m not going. I haven’t flown since 1976 and I don’t plan to until somebody gives the idiots in charge some common sense.
it seems that every time the public “adjusts” to the new normal in inconvenience related to flying, the government ratchets it up to the next level… almost as if they are trying to ding the airline business… perhaps because they think it’s unfair for Americans to do so much flying around, spending so much filthy lucre on fun and travel, when so many people in other parts of the world are suffering so much because of our greedy cruelty……??
I’m just sayin’.
