. . . . .

A few years ago, I saw the Disney/Pixar movie CARS, a cute story featuring animated autos and trucks with personalities so funny, even the kids liked ’em…

I wrote about it last summer after I took a trip through the Arizona desert with Barbara “Hair on Fire” Espinosa and we made it a point to visit Peach Springs, a locale that’s barely a town that was the inspiration for “Radiator Springs”, the “cutest little town in Carburetor County” on Route 66. View my slideshow here.

Peach Springs, AZ, sits on the outskirts of Seligman, and townsfolk have created a miniature version of the movie set with  ‘Mater the redneck towtruck, Lighting McQueen the race car, Doc Hudson the judge and sheriff, and all the other car characters who populated “Radiator Springs”.

As the movie storyline went, Radiator Springs was passed by and forgotten after a superhighway routed travelers and tourists away from the friendly “folks” who populated the town.  And it took Lightning McQueen the race car to bring the town to life again.

So now Disney/Pixar has released the follow-up movie, CARS 2, and from what I’m hearing, it’s a huge disappointment.  Why?  Well, read this note from “Paula”…

I took my granddaughter and her friend to see this movie yesterday. It is totally biased toward oil. The plot involves a bio-fuel called Allinol being used in the “global” races. Allinol is supposedly developed by an oil barron that sold off all his oil holdings because he wanted to save the environment, but finds the world’s largest oil reserves. He then sabotages the races to make everyone believe Allinol is flawed, but of course the plan is exposed and Lightning McQueen chooses to use the Allinol and big oil is defeated, thereby saving the world’s ecosystems. It was sickening. I’m tired of these enviro wackos ruining what were good kid movies.

This ploy could be very effective on kids of a certain age. My granddaughter knows the purpose of this indoctrination. There were quite a few little boys (3-4 yr olds) in the theater who just wanted to watch the cars race and watch the funny antics of Mater the tow truck. I don’t think the subtle indoctrination sinks in with them in a one-time viewing. However, as young children usually end up with the DVD and watch it over and over, it could be very effective.

That’s a shame. But you see how it’s done? How the Socialist Left imbues their cultural views in subtle ways, brainwashing little minds with ideologies that will lead them into globalism, and ultimately, into slavery to their restrictive and constrictive policies and regulations.
