The Left is going to have a field day with this one. And so will the pseudo conservatives, you know, the RINO/GOP Establishment/Ruling Elite set. Karl Rove’s wiping down his dinky little white board and getting ready to go on Focks News again to jump Cain’s a$$.
The Hill reported:
Herman Cain in an interview with an Israeli newspaper said pushes by the “so-called Palestinian people” for statehood and an Iranian assassination plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the United States are evidence that President Obama is perceived as weak in the Middle East.
“I think that the so-called Palestinian people have this urge for unilateral recognition because they see this president as weak,” Cain said during an interview with Israel Hayom. “I haven’t seen all the facts but I think this whole assassination attempt was another example of seeing this president as weak, in that regard. So, weakness invites attack and I think that he has projected a sense of weakness.”
The Republican front-runner also said that the president “threw Israel under the bus” when stating support for a peace process brokered around the framework of the 1967 borders.
“I believe that his lack of a firm stand regarding Israel has emboldened Israel’s enemies, and America’s enemies,” Cain said. “He threw Israel under the bus with the statement about the 1967 borders. He just threw them under the bus. He threw Prime Minister Netanyahu under the bus prior to his visit to America. In a Cain administration there would be no question in the minds of the world and the American people that we would stand with Israel.”
I honestly don’t think there’s anything Herman Cain said about Israel and the “so-called” Palestinians that’s going to turn off Americans across the fruited plain.
Just look at the comments at Jim Hoft’s Gateway Pundit. I’m seeing overwhelming support for Herman Cain’s candor. Here are a few, indicative of the 169 (as of this writing) already written:
finally a politician who speaks the truth…if more would come out and show all odumbos gaffes…lies…deceits…illegal matters…maybe people would wake up to the mooslum in chief’s true desire to destroy america
Not sure I see where Cain was wrong (on this one)…I mean, what’s the capital city of Palestine? What’s the name of Palestine’s currency? You see the point…Palestinians per se don’t actually exist. Don’t know if that’s what Cain meant but it’s what I know for a fact.
In order for there to be “Palestinians,” there would have to be a country or nation called Palestine. There is no such country, at least, no such country is recognized by the United Nations or by the United States, the Presidency of which Mr Cain seeks. There is a geographic area in the mideast historically referred to as Palestine, but its boundaries were never fixed and varied from century to century. Historically, there never was a “Palestinian people.” That term is a concept that really only arose after the United Nations decreed that Israel would be a home for the Jewish people.
Mr Cain is therefore correct in referring to them as the “so-called” Palestinians. Perhaps he is not “politically” correct in doing so, but that’s a feature, not a bug.
I like it. The UN world has bestowed far too much status to this vagabond group of malignant victims terrorizing civilization. To have a black man from the oldest race appointed to victim status say something that diminishes a newer class of world appointed victims is powerful stuff. He will benefit in the polls as all the ranging angry OWS shout him down as a ZIONIST puppet of Federal Reserve jewish banksters . He is not gaffing. He is laying down bait that will draw out more antisemitism from the KKK closet.

Bravo, Mr Cain!! Thank you for showing the world how one who aspires to be the most powerful man on the planet can stand tall, with courage & dignity & make a
strong statement, in clear, concise language to unequivocally & without reservation
or apology, align ourselves with our allies in the nation of Israel against the nefarious
forces who seek to do them harm!

• Chicago Tribune (1983): The massive Arab immigration into Palestine during the Mandate period accounts for roughly 75 percent of the supposedly “Palestinian” population present at the time of the partition in 1948.
• Professor (1973): Obviously the great majority of “Palestinians” were themselves Immigrants or sons or grandsons of immigrants from other Arab lands, that came to partake of the prosperity generated by the Jews. Entire towns and villages in 1948 could trace their origins to other countries…
• S. African (2007) : Eighty per cent of current ‘Palestinians’ are illegal immigrants or the children or grandchildren thereof who were quietly welcomed by the British administrators of the Mandate. Any Arab peasant or job seeker found a ready welcome in unadministered “refugee camps”, becoming a ‘Palestinian’ overnight.
• Jurist who lectured at the Academy of International Law in the Hague: most of the inhabitants of Palestine were not the descendants of its original indigenous population, but rather many were immigrants themselves.
• Scientist: The absolute majority of the so-called Palestinians are descendants of the Twentieth Century Arab immigrants who searched for a rewarding chunk of the economical boom engendered by the returning Jews.
• Researcher: There is no age-old Palestinian people. Most so-called Palestinians are relative newcomers to The Land of Israel.
