Good morning America!
I’m tuned in, coffee at hand, perusing the Drudge Report and Memorandum. Emails too. The world is still spinning, and so’s the media regarding the “fiasco” that presidential candidate Herman Cain finds himself enmired in.
Good work, Rove and Co.
Next, we have a Texas judge who whipped the snot out of his daughter – not once, but several times. Enough for her to have set up a videocamera to record the beatings. Smart girl. My Dad, bless his soul, came after me the same way when I was young, and I remember to this day the sickening fear I felt when he whipped his belt from his pant loops and whaled on me for something I did to piss him off. I don’t recall ever doing something deserving of such treatment, and I’m here to tell you that young woman didn’t either. Nasty business.
Hard for me to be objective on this one. I say the sonofabitch gets every humiliation he deserves. A family court judge, for pete’s sake. Coincidentally, I just finished reading Glenn Beck’s The Snow Angel, which deals with the topic of abuse — mental and physical. You just don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, do you?

Herman Cain’s campaign manager Mark Block was on Focks this morning with Martha McCollum, who I have grown to dislike more and more. She’s an absolute dummy when it comes to history — as witnessed by her abysmally low scores on the simplest of historic cultural topics on Bill O’Bloviator’s inane “Culture Quiz” segment — but she’s no dope when it comes to being razor sharp with her questions of candidates Focks is obviously NOT supporting.
Anyway, Block was there answering her queries about the “sexual assault” accusations, and I think he handled it pretty well. He and the rest of the campaign must be disgusted with the level of slime that politics has become (has become?), but the polling numbers were borne out in the next segment which featured Scott Rasmussen who said Cain’s poll numbers are holding as the frontrunner against Romney the Democrat. And voters are evenly divided about the allegations and most Republicans believe the public airing of the charges suggest Cain is considered a serious threat to win the nomination.
Here’s a sample of today’s Herman Cain headlines, hand-picked by Drudge himself:

GALLUP: ROMNEY, OBAMA TIED…
ABCWAPOST POLL: Cain rises despite allegations…
Ben Bradlee: ‘I think he’s got it coming to him, doesn’t he?’
National Restaurant Assoc may lift gag…
PRUDEN: Herman Cain and innuendos…
This one gets an eyeroll:
Rothenberg: Would Cain Be Leading the Race if He Were White?

Solyndra in the news, but if Americans are aware of it, it’s with a vague passing knowledge. Here’s the deal. House subpoenas have been approved by the House subcommittee investigating the issue. Those Subpoenas were served yesterday to the President and VP and must be responded to by Nov. 10. Florida Rep. Cliff Stearns chairs the subcommittee. Of course, the White House lawyers are slow walking this and know how to slither through the worm holes (use executive privilege or comply) and so we’ll watch them do that, as the Ken and Barbie dolls at Focks breathlessly bring it to you, reminding you that their coverage of this scandal is “fair and balanced”. Right…

As Regulators Pressed Changes, Corzine Pushed Back, and Won
Jon Corzine, thief of Biblical proportions and Obama’s money bagman, is on the griddle for his involvement in MF Global. If you want the REAL story (not FOCKS et al’s version), head to Ann Banhardt’s blog. Ann will be with us tonight on my radio program to discuss. 9pm ET — link here to listen.
This is a HUGE story, but Martha McCollum has to go, because we have only two minutes to devote to it and, and, and…

Senate gridlock: Both parties block jobs bills
Congress is flaccid… talking heads claiming that Americans want compromise. THIS is what passes for intelligent news… Focks brings out the left’s view of it — where’s the RIGHT view? Wait, wait! Focks’ mission is to shape YOUR opinion, telling you that what WE want is compromise.

The Audacity of Occupy Wall Street
Please. This one’s pretty simple to figure out. It’s the Obama regime’s “Bottom up”. Top down (federal gov’t intervention) in three… two… We are being set on fire by the useful idiots and their handlers. Ummm… where is Congress? Oh, right…flaccid.

Lawmakers Seek Information on ‘Fast And Furious’ Leaks
If they’re serious about seeking information, they should simply head to Sipsey Street where they can read the accounts of the ATF whistleblowers, and then start slapping on the cuffs, beginning with the racist AG Eric Holder and the cow who passes for the secretary of the gestapo new-speak agency comically known as “Homeland Security.”

U.S. Economic Outlook: Plateau or Promise?
Leftist organization Think Progress would have you believe that Obama’s bathroom emanations have the whiff of the finest perfume. That he’s doing everything he can to save jobs, the economy, the world. And some people really fall for this…

Cain Shows Initial Resilience in the Face of Controversy
As one reader at Big Journalism wrote: “I like Mr. Cain. He speaks like he means it, he is honest and doesn’t say what he thinks we want to hear. This smear campaign could actually give him another boost since it looks as though he is being specifically targeted with over stated claims.
I hope it’s Romney behind it, I dislike that perfect-hair-Democrat with a passion.”
