America needs more Scott Walker and less Obama

Our friend John Ruberry — the Marathon Pundit — did the honors today, posting this on Sunday, May 13 on behalf of the Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama.  Thank you Marathon Man!

Our nation’s second-most important election is the recall contest in Wisconsin next month.

The states where the public-sector unions are the strongest are Illinois and California. And both are headed to insolvency.

Prior to Walker taking office, Wisconsin had a $3.6 billion deficit. It now has a balanced budget–and the reformer achieved that without raising taxes.

The Committee to Defeat Barack Obama has got Walker’s back. Here’s a television commercial that is running in Wisconsin–it’s called “America Needs More Scott Walker and Less Barack Obama.”

  1. I couldn’t agree more! I sure hope Walker wins.

Speaking of balancing budgets, have you heard about the Balanced Budget Pledge?

I will not send money to and I will not support any Senate or Congressional Candidate until that candidate has agreed to pass the People’s Balanced Budget Amendment or a substantively similar Amendment*

It’s a way to try to force our politicians to take the deficit seriously and pass a balanced-budget amendment. If enough of us take the pledge, I think we can really make it happen!
