In fact he exists so that the IG & DOJ could deal with the corrupt actors while he focused on doing a credible job of resolving if Trump had colluded or obstructed. I don’t relate to him as a white hat. He was asked to do a critical job & accepted.
People pretend that in the political environment of May 2017 Rosenstein could have just stepped to the mic and proclaimed Trump’s innocence and the whole thing would have magically disappeared. Foolishness.
People also seem to think making cases against corrupt actors within our government particularly people at FBI and CIA is a simple endeavor. It’s not. Durham is still working to put together cases. Durham isn’t a Trump cheerleader. He doesn’t care about Trump. He’s a law man.
People also seem to be angry about timing. The truth is that this is great timing. In fact Democrats are certain to complain that Trump somehow coordinated things to happen during the midst of the campaign.
Many of you don’t realize but I was hammered for over a year for saying Mueller would clear Trump. He did. I said a badass AG would reunify DOJ. He did. I said afterward we would enter a phase where the corrupt actors were prosecuted. That’s what you are watching.
Did I like waiting? No. Did I like Sessions recusal? No. Did I like living through the Mueller BS? No. Did I like Rosenstein? Not really. But could I say the logic for why this was the best way to do this? Yup. I’ve never cared if people agreed with my speculations.
I appreciate that people find my posts interesting. I really do. I enjoy the engagement I get on this platform. But I’m going to call it as I see it. Sometimes I’m wrong. Often I’m right. Either way we will enjoy the show.
