The “Hunter Moon” is rising.
Full moons on Halloween are very rare. They only happen every 18 or 19 years, according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac. Technically, the second full moon of the month is called a hunter’s blue moon, so here we have a full-blown hunter’s blue moon on Halloween. In Celtic traditions, Halloween was the day spirits of the dead wandered around in the moonlight — anyone spot Joe Biden howling at the hunter moon?
