It’s an old expression we said when describing the moment a lightbulb finally went on in someone’s head.
Not sure of its origin from but it was used frequently on Boston’s North Shore. Probably from Revolutionary times. Today the light dawned in Katy Tur’s head.

“The trust in media, in newspapers and television, is hitting an all time low. People don’t trust us. They don’t believe us, and it makes me wonder if this job —as I’m currently doing it— is effective, but if it’s doing more harm than good.”
Hard to believe that these “so called news people are sooooo disconnected to the people. Or are they just without conscience?
