They thought of everything. They even counted on THE PEOPLE to pay attention to their legislators and legislatures such that THE PEOPLE would be the ones to limit their terms when dissatisfied with their representation.
That THE PEOPLE would actively participate in a political system that guaranteed the precious freedom so hard fought, so dearly paid for in blood and treasure.
