We need more Matt Gaetzes in Congress.
Rep. Matt Gaetz penned a letter to Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall asking for the names of those responsible for telling airmen they couldn’t attend a rally featuring a speaker from Turning Point Action.
Gaetz wrote, “You are obligated to intervene, as this series of actions demonstrates a clear misapplication of the Hatch Act, which states members on active duty should not engage in political activities while in uniform to avoid creating the appearance that their political activities imply official Department of Defense (DoD) sponsorship, approval or endorsement of a candidate, campaign or cause.”
He also noted that the November 17th rally took place after work hours—and not on federal property.
A press release from Rep. Gaetz’s Office explained the “letter highlights the brazen partisan nature of these messages and the attempt to suppress constitutionally protected freedoms of speech and assembly.”
IMO Gaetz isn’t who many think he is. He’s about “Matt”, getting on TV, getting close to those that matter. Egotistical, loves to be in the spot light, has a couple of questionable actions he made that have been looked into. Yes, I am Rep but cannot stand this man. I thot it was funny when he was forced to speak from the Dem’s mic.

I love Matt Gaetz. He represents what they people of the panhandle want. We need these kind of unafraid leaders.

Yes, I am a Republican and not a RINO. I don’t have to like every Republican. And yes, there are some RINOs that I believe have gone too far. I would say if anything I lean more right although not far right.
I could almost promise he will mess up again. There was an article not too long ago that the title was about Floridians hating him. Approval ratings tanked.
