I’ve been predicting for some time that 2024 would be a year of great upheaval, with the potential for civil unrest, and even civil war, reaching the point of five alarm bells.

I penned my first article voicing my concern about a coming civil war on April 23, 2018 and it was based on something I witnessed first-hand in my hometown of Newnan, Georgia. That article was titled Newnan, Georgia: A harbinger of the coming American civil war?

There have been many more articles since then pointing to the growing divisions in our society, fostered by globalist elites in the media, government, the corporate world and even in our churches.

Fast-forward to late December 2023, and now even the mainstream media is making similarly dark predictions. There’s even a Hollywood movie, called Civil War, which will be released in U.S. theaters on April 26.

But the subject of this article is a Christmas Eve segment on CBS Face the Nation, in which veteran corporate-media reporter Catherine Herridge, who until 2019 worked 20-plus years as the chief intelligence correspondent for Fox News, gave what she called a “dark” prediction for 2024. Watch below.

 

There’s a lot to unpack in the above 31-second statement by Catherine Herridge who as part of her job surely has a lot of sources deep in the intelligence agences of the CIA, FBI, NSA, etc. In fact, I would venture to say that Herridge would not have been able to keep her job over the last 25 years unless she had been willing to “play the game” with Washington, D.C.’s notorious military-industrial-security complex, reporting only what the powerful three-letter agencies wanted the American people to know — nothing more and nothing less.

This is a woman who chooses her words very carefully and is not going to speak out of school. To do so in her position would mean automatic termination and blacklisting from the corporate mainstream media. We’ve seen this happen to countless other mainstream corporate reporters over the last couple of decades. Folks like Lara Logan, Sharyl Attkisson, Gary Webb and Tucker Carlson all tested the limits of what’s acceptable to report in the mainstream media and found the leash to be very short. They were fired and blacklisted.

So we must pay careful attention to Herridge’s words in the above video. She says the U.S. will have “a national-security event with high impact that’s very hard to predict,” pointing to ongoing wars and U.S. division as factors creating “fertile ground for our adversaries like North Korea, China and Iran” to take advantage of.

Herridge uses very different words to predict basically the same type of “event” — which is going to be an attack of some sort — that myself and others in the conservative media have been predicting for several years. There are key differences, however, in her warning, which is stuffed with loaded words meant to throw us off track steer our attention in a certain direction.

Notice that she’s very careful to pin the blame for such an attack on “our adversaries” overseas. How does she know this “event” will be carried out by a foreign government? The foreign boogeyman is already being blamed here when there’s a good chance that such an attack could be launched by our own government, which is desperate for an excuse to cancel or postpone the elections in 2024, or at the very least keep people at home and force them to vote by mail. Because we all know that “Black Swan events” make it very dangerous for people to be out and about and standing in line to vote.

So instead of warning about a potential false-flag attack, or an attack by a domestic or foreign-based patsy that is allowed to occur by our own government, she frames this future attack, whether biological, cyber, nuclear or something else, as an unpredictable Black Swan event. In truth, it is very predictable. All you have to do is listen to the globalists’ corporate-media mouthpieces and the messaging coming out of Hollywood.

Then Herridge goes on to note that “we’re so divided in this country” and unable to handle such an event peacefully like we did, say, during the 9/11 attacks. That sounds like a prediction of mass civil unrest and potentially civil war coming in 2024, straight from the mouth of a corporate-media globalist puppet. Wow!

All I can say is, get ready. Because 2024 is going to be unlike any other year in recent history. Where else can you get this type of analysis from a person who’s worked both in the mainstream media and for the last seven years as an independent reporter?
