I remember the exact moment OJ was acquitted. I was flying from Europe back to the US (USAF C-141) and we were just coasting out over Ireland. A British Airways pilot announced that OJ was found “not guilty” over the radio. Pilots from every country, every airline, and every military service erupted in disbelief. It was such an international story that everybody knew the dude did it.
