Bomb threat at CEO’s home hours before shooting

Minnesota police investigated a bomb threat at Brian Thompson’s home just 12 hours before he was executed in NYC.

The development comes as investigators have zeroed in on a gun store in Connecticut where they suspect Thompson’s k*ller purchased the gun.

At the moment, it’s unclear if the bomb threat was connected to the sh**ting however the timing is very suspicious.

According to the New York Times, investigators say they believe the gun is connected to a Connecticut gun shop and are “trying to determine whether the buyer of the gun could be the suspect.”

The Times also reports that officers in Maple Grove, Minnesota investigated a bomb threat at Thompson’s MN home just hours before he was k*lled.

“A police report released Thursday says the small suburban department sought help from the Minneapolis bomb squad as they searched two residences fruitlessly,” the Times reported.

“Bullet casings from the scene had the words “Depose, Deny Defend” engraved on them. In 2022 a book titled “Delay, Deny, Defend” was published about insurance company tactics and how to beat them. Coincidences like this don’t happen by coincidence” – Citizen Caller US on X

“The Brian Thompson story just keeps getting stranger, and with these new developments, the questions are piling up even higher. A bomb threat at his Minnesota home just 12 hours before his execution in NYC? That timing is way too coincidental to ignore. If it’s connected, it paints a picture of someone—or a group—going to extraordinary lengths to intimidate or send a message.

The bomb threat raises some serious possibilities.

Was this part of a coordinated campaign to destabilize Thompson before taking him out? Or was it a decoy meant to divert attention and resources while the actual hit was carried out? Either way, the timing suggests a level of sophistication that points to something much bigger than a lone actor.

Then there’s the gun angle. If investigators are narrowing in on a Connecticut gun shop, it might give us a clearer idea of how premeditated this was. Guns purchased legally can often be traced back to their buyer, which means this suspect either didn’t care about leaving a paper trail or believed they could avoid detection.

Did the suspect use false information, or was the purchase completely above board? If the weapon’s origin can be confirmed, it could lead us closer to identifying the killer—or whoever orchestrated this hit.

Here’s another layer: why the shift in tactics? A bomb threat and an execution-style hit are very different. One feels like psychological warfare—an attempt to create fear and chaos—while the other is cold and calculated. Were the two acts carried out by the same person, or does this suggest a larger group with different roles?

And what about the residences that were searched? If no bomb was found, was this just a scare tactic, or could there be something else investigators missed? The fact that they called in the Minneapolis bomb squad suggests they took the threat seriously, which makes the lack of findings even more suspicious.

Finally, let’s not forget the broader context. Was this all connected to the DOJ investigation into UnitedHealthcare? Or was it personal—tied to Thompson’s decisions as CEO? The pieces don’t fully fit yet, but the level of coordination suggests that whoever’s behind this had resources, knowledge, and a clear agenda.

It feels like this story is far from over, and the connections between the bomb threat, the weapon, and the killer are only going to get more interesting as the investigation unfolds.

Could this all lead to a larger conspiracy? Or are we looking at an incredibly meticulous individual? Either way, the deeper we go, the more it feels like there’s a bigger story waiting to be uncovered.” –

If they’re looking at a gun shop in Connecticut, they must have something tying it there—maybe serial numbers from sales records or even something connected to the shell casings. With how strict Connecticut’s gun laws are, if it was bought legally, there’s probably a solid paper trail.

But if it wasn’t a legal purchase, that raises a whole new set of questions—like how the suspect got it and whether anyone else was involved. Either way, it sounds like they’re zeroing in on something big. It’s just a matter of how much closer this gets them to the buyer or the suspect.
