Not sure how effective Darrell Issa is with the ongoing investigation into the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearm Gunwalker scandal, an ATF program that allowed straw purchasers to buy guns, intending to trace them to the Mexican cartels. Mike Vanderbeogh, who along with David Codrea broke this story back in December, isn’t assured that the highest levels are taking care of business the RIGHT way.
I’ve written about this several times on my website, and interviewed (on my radio program on March 9th) the two men (Mike Vanderboegh and David Codrea) who broke the story when the ATF whistleblowers came to them last winter after Jaime Zapata (ICE agent) and Brian Terry (Border Patrol agent) were murdered with weapons believed to have been illegally authorized by the ATF to “walk” across the border.
And tonight I will be interviewing Larry Pratt, head of the Gun Owners Association (GOA) about this ATF/DoJ/DHS/DoS scandal. Pratt has been quite vocal about this crime, pushing out against a media that refuses to report about it (covering for Holder, Obama, et al) with few exceptions.
