Say it ain’t so, Judge Napolitano!

Our friend Kristinn Taylor of Free Republic.com is concerned that our favorite legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano has placed his imprimature on the wrong guy.  (Reprinted with permission.) Here’s why:

Fox News and Judge Andrew Napolitano Shill for IVAW Traitor Adam Kokesh – Again

Fox News and Judge Andrew Napolitano are shamelessly promoting a wartime traitor, Adam Kokesh of the communist front group Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), as a Republican candidate for Congress.

For the second time in recent months, Judge Napolitano has had Kokesh on his Fox News show, Freedom Watch, for a softball interview about Kokesh’s Republican primary bid to represent New Mexico’s 3rd District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

There is no mention by Napolitano about Kokesh’s involvement with terrorist supporting groups like IVAW and Code Pink, nor did Napolitano mention Kokesh’s repeated disciplinary actions in the Marines that resulted in him being demoted from sergeant to corporal and from an honorable discharge to a general discharge.

Napolitano did not bring up Kokesh personally urging U.S. troops on a base in Germany to desert the military and lay down their arms.

In another era, Kokesh would have faced a firing squad or the hangman’s noose for his actions in Germany. But we live in a more progressive era where traitors are heroes and heroes are the ones persecuted.

America’s veterans and military families have come to expect such promotions of treasonous people by others in the media. Coming from Fox News, this is a deep betrayal.

Fox and Napolitano are either guilty of gross journalistic malpractice by not researching Kokesh’s history, or they are willfully witholding that information from their viewers.

Given Fox’s disgraceful history of promoting Code Pink, the latter is quite possible.

Kokesh on Napolitano’s Freedom Watch March 1, 2010. Third screen down.

May, 2007, Adam Kokesh urges U.S. troops at a base in Anspach, Germany to quit the military: "If any of you should decide to leave the Army while in Germany and throw down your arms, the people of Ansbach will support you and do our best to provide you with aid, comfort, and sanctuary."

Kokesh has been endorsed by Ron Paul, of course.

Commenting about Kristin’s post, a reader adds to the evidence with this:

Let me guess, Napolitano also didn’t bring up Kokesh’s putting up racist posters on a college campus that falsely claimed they were from a Conservative student group that Kokesh had no relation to.

What do YOU think?  Misplaced loyalty on the part of Judge Napolitano?

  1. No patriot he who places our troops in harms way to fight under UN Rules of Engagement.
Being against the war is not the same as being against our troops. Being against the Obama/Bush war where our troops have to fight under the damnable “Rules of Engagement”
which places them at fighting a war with limitations on them. If your heart aches for the military then don’t you dare ask them to fight with their hands tied behind their backs. I support the
troops by saying hell no to Rules of Engagement and bring our guys home. Adam Kokesh is right on. Because you do not understand his reasoning you do yourself a disservice by equating him to
communists or terrorists. If your intent is to smear Adam Kokesh because of his opposition to the war, then, your logic makes you on the side of of Bush and Obama who are using our troops to
fulfill some new world order mandate from the United Nations. Not very patriotic I’d say.
Adam Kokesh , a Marine, fought to retake the city of Falujah. 125 Marine lives were lost due to the rules of engagement where
we (the Marine commander) was ordered to drop leaflets on the city prior to the attack, cooperate with the Iraqi police (who covertly worked with the terrorists) Marines ordered not to fire on religious
buildings, (where do snipers hide), allow safe passage of “non combatants” without checking on them, etc.
Do you not understand what you are doing by involving our guys to be killed while the other side has no such sanctions.

    1. I am reporting what someone else has written. I understand your ire and concern. I agree that the rules of engagement are a travesty to our military. Thank you for your input and your service to our Country.

  2. Adam Kokesh is a Patriot, he did whatever he could to work against an unjust, unconstitutional, unprovoked war which he risked his life to fight, even as his own government put his life in greater danger than was necessary for the mission.

Your article is a smear, you have no sources, nothing to back up your slander.

As far as I’m concerned, you can’t wear the label of Patriot and smear a man like Adam Kokesh as a traitor in the same page.

  3. Adam Kokesh is right. All the current wars are unconstitutional. Why is the U.S. Constitution important in all matters except for policing the world? Why? Aren’t you sick of the wars yet? Aren’t you tired of paying for the wars? I AM! Bring the troops home and DEFEND the homeland.

War is a racket, and it creates huge profits for the power elite contractors. Warmongering is NOT an American value! The 100 year war economy is bankrupting America morally and economically while destroying our credibility around the world.

I have looked at all the videos of Adam Kokesh, and I will work hard to get his patriotic voice, his message of freedom, peace, prosperity… and honorable values in Washington D.C.

  4. All I know is that all of the recent “HIT PEICES” THAT I SEE ON ADAM KOKESH…REASURES ME THAT HE IS ON THE RIGHT TRACK!!!!!!

A REAL CHANGE IN THE SO CALLED “REPUBLICAN” PARTY, TO PUT IT BACK ON TRACK…TO A TRUE REPUBLICAN MOVEMENT!! THIS SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ALL OF YOU, WHO APPERENTLY THINK IT IS A REPUBLICAN PARTY RIGHT NOW…AND THE LEADERSHIP HAS NOT BEEN LED UP TO THIS DICTATORSHIP BY BOTH THE “LEFT” AND THE “RIGHT”??? SO THEN THERE IS NO LEFT OR RIGHT….JUST A BLACK BOX (LIKE IS USED TO CENSOR UNDESIRABLE THINGS ON TV), AND UNDER THAT BLACK BOX IS HEGELIAN DIALECTIC THEORY BEING EMPLIMENTED!!

ALL OF YOU “DEPUBLICATS” SHOULD GET OUT OF THE WAY….THE REPUBLIC IS COMING STRONG, YOU ARE USELESS AND WEAK, AS YOU PROVE TO US IN YOUR PANICED MUDLINGING CRYING CAMPAIGN!!!!!!

WE THE PEOPLE ARE GETTING EDUCATED OUT OF THAT BLACK BOX NOW!!!!

YOU ARE THE ONLY CRIMINALS OF THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH WE STAND TALL AND MIGHTY!!!! CALLING KOKESH A TRAITOR…OF WHAT????? THERE IS NO DECLARED WAR, AND THAT NULLIFIES ALL BUT THE WAR CRIMINALS WHO SENT OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS TO DEATH A DEATH SENTENCE IN AN UNLAWFUL OVERSEAS PERSONAL CONFLICT!!!!
THE SOLDIERS, GOD BLESS THEM…SHOULD HAVE A TRUE PATRIOT TELLING THEM THEY SHOULD LAY DOWN THEIR ARMS AND COME HOME TO FIGHT THE REAL ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!!!! WHAT THEY ARE FIGHTING IS NOT A “WAR”…ITS A MOVEMENT TOWARDS THE VISION OF THE OLIGARCH’S!!!!!!

THIS ANGER ONLY CAME FROM SEEING YOUR IGNORANCE DISPLAYED OVER AND OVER AGAIN…CALLING YOURSELVES PATRIOTS??? JUST SICK…..

    GO CHOKE ON YOUR DIALECT!!!!!!

  5. To the Kokesh Kool-Aid drinkers: I regret to inform you that your hero Adam Kokesh is indeed a traitor. The facts are presented in the article. You can scream, stamp your feet, TYPE IN ALL CAPS and hold your breath until you turn blue, but it won’t make Adam Kokesh a patriot. He may have been one at one time, but no longer.

The libertarian movement is committing suicide by embracing people like Kokesh.

And, I also regret to inform you that OIF and OEF are both lawful under the U.S. Constitution.

The Iraqis are having another free election tomorrow, thanks to President George W. Bush and the servicemen and women of the U.S. and our allies. I witnessed Iraqis casting their first votes in free elections several years ago. Seeing people who were brutally kept down and forced to support the terrorist state of Saddam Hussein finally be able to vote for their own government was a miracle come true.

    1. @Ms Taylor, Suicide? haha – yeah right. I guess the CPAC win for Ron Paul was the death throes… lulz.

and liberal nation building ops like OIF/OEF will never be constitutional, until the Constitution is amended to allow congress to abdicate it’s responsibility. Art 1 Sec 8 is clear and an authorization of force is not a declaration of war, (not that one can declare a war against a tactic). The fact is that we have not declared a war since WW2 and all of this smoke and mirrors is just the BS of progressive infiltrators into the GOP.

We, who support the troops (but not our present foreign policy), are very concerned about the fact that we lost more troops to suicide last year than enemy action. That fact is much more relevant to discussions of morale…

  6. Take a look at the GOP establishment candidate and decide for yourself if he has what it takes to restore constitutional conservatism to the GOP? I am in Santa Fe and I want to WIN this seat
