Jack Cashill – “THE” American Thinker

Jack Cashill, investigative journalist and prolific author and documentary film maker has scored again.  His piece in Sunday’s American Thinker focuses like a laser on “Pop”, the poem allegedly written by a young Obama about an older man in his life.

The piece has elicited nearly 70 comments to date, most from readers who share serious concern about Obama’s background.  When solid, fact-based people like Cashill search for the facts and follow where they lead, it makes me want to say to all those out there who disparagingly refer to him and others asking questions as “birthers” — use your head.  But in order to do that you’ll first have to pull it from the orifice into which you’ve got it firmly tucked.

Here’s Jack:

A little more than a month ago, I began my first descent into the rabbit hole of Barack Obama’s origins, a place known to swallow reputations whole. What prompted my inquiry was an e-mail from a correspondent asking my opinion of “Pop,” a poem published under the 19-year-old Obama’s name in the spring 1981 edition of Occidental College’s literary magazine, Feast. Having no prior bias going in, here is what I have concluded coming out.

Jack lays out 37 points for your consideration, then ends with this:

Curiouser and curiouser! Those dependent on the major media for their news know close to none of the above. They have been coached to believe that only Mad Hatters and “birthers” would dare question the self-serving slop of disinformation that the media have dished out in the age of Obama. Well, off now to see Alice — something of a homecoming for me, as I have lived in Wonderland for the last several years.

Jack has been a guest on my radio program dozens of times.  Always with fascinating verified facts and details about the political crime stories the Democrat-media complex adeptly hides or lies about:  the cover-up of TWA Flight 800’s explosion over Long Island in 1996; Clinton Administration Commerce Secretary Ron Brown’s mysterious death; the truth about the abortion industry; and how the intellectual hucksters have hoodwinked American culture. Jack has written more than 500 articles, several books, and many documentaries revealing the truth the Progressive Left doesn’t want you to see.

Head to Jack ‘s website and educate yourself.  It’s a far more productive use of your time than casting aspersions at “birthers”.

  1. In my opinion this is what the small portions of the republican party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” have brought you. They are good at “Follow the Leader” of their dullard leaders, they listen to Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush and Savage and the rest of the Blowhards. Are you surprise at what they do when you know what they think? The world is complicated and most republicans (Hamiliton, Lincoln, Roosevelt) believe that we should use government a little to increase social mobility, now its about dancing around the claim of government is the problem. The sainted Reagan passed the biggest tax increase in American history and as a result federal employment increased, but facts are lost when mired in mysticism and superstition. Although most republicans are trying to distant themselves from this fringe they have a long way to go.
