A couple of thousand folks from the Greater Detroit area turned out on this Sunday morning at the Civic Center Park and Historical Village in Clinton Township, giving a warm welcome to the Tea Party Express.
I took this photo from the stage — they cheered and raised their signs and flags when they saw me take out my camera! A handsome bunch, aren’t they?
Here are some more pix. The Rally is just about over, and we’re heading to Cleveland, Ohio for a 5 p.m. EDT rally at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Most likely we’ll be late arriving. We’re always running late! But the folks are always out there waiting for us! It’s amazing. Here are some more pics of our Detroit-area friends. They stand shoulder to shoulder with you in defending our Constitution and rescuing our country from the clutches of the Communists in the White House.

These people at the tea party don’t look like terrorists to me. They look like my trusted neighbors. Some of every ethnic, religion,color and party. Hooray for them!!!!
