Joe Wierzbicki, coordinator for the Tea Party Express, issued the following statement Monday in response to the Tea Party Federation’s announcement Sunday about the Federation’s relationship with the Tea Party Express:
“The Tea Party Express with over 400,000 members is by far larger than the Tea Party Federation’s entire membership. Most rank-and-file tea party activists think we’re talking about Star Trek when we try to explain who the “Federation” is. Given the absurdity of the actions by the “Federation,” this is quite fitting, since their conduct is alien to our membership.”Groups trying to say who can or can’t be ‘expelled’ from the tea party movement is arrogant and preposterous. Perhaps this explains why so many tea party groups have left the “Federation” during the past few months. Whatever the reason, most tea party activists are focused on taking back their country and the upcoming 2010 elections and not silly power games being played by individuals such as those in the “Federation.”“To add to the absurdity of the “Federation” they have also informed us that our members can’t participate in something called their “basecamp” communication network, which makes us think that the individuals involved in the “Federation” spend a bit too much time watching science fiction movies and cartoons. We here at the Tea Party Express prefer a focus that is more grounded in the Constitution and electing tea party conservatives to offices of import in these 2010 elections.
The “Federation” has enabled and empowered the NAACP’s racist attacks on the tea party movement, and they should be ashamed of themselves.
“Circular firing squads of groups within the tea party movement attacking one another accomplish nothing, and on this issue the Tea Party Federation is wrong, and has both enabled and empowered the NAACP’s racist attacks on the tea party movement. Which is something they’ll realize when they beam themselves back from basecamp.”

Late Saturday representatives of the NAACP, the National Urban League and the Tea Party Express (that would be me) sat down with representatives of other groups from both the right and the left.
We discussed and debated the increasing level of rancor developing along racial lines in the discussion of public policy.
By the end of the discussion, hosted and moderated by Geraldo Rivera and broadcast live on the Fox News Channel we all agreed to tone it down, denounce those extremists who attempt to latch onto our respective movements and move forward.
Sadly there are elements around each of our groups who insist on exasperating the problem, and others who blunder into a delicate truce to stomp about and throw a tantrum, perhaps offended that they were not at the table the other night.
Mr. Webb and the Tea Party Federation put themselves into that column. Perhaps they are seeking to shift some of the media attention to themselves. They will have to tell you why they did what they did, I cannot speak for any tea party group with which I am not affiliated (I have never personally been affiliated with this “Federation”.
With this I must now hold up to my obligation to denounce those who seek to divide our unity in the march to defeat the real enemy of out of control government that threatens the liberty of all Americans. Therefore I call on the Federation to join in our progress and cease their efforts to divide.

I worry that this will harm the Conservative Movement.
If you want to preserve Freedom you must understand what threatens it , and wealth creation through capitalist systems are the backbone of individual self preservation and Liberty .

These Tax cuts need to be extended for continued economic recovery , this had nothing to do with the collapse , it was Big debts that were allowed to build up buy a lack of will by our Government to regulate Lending Practices by the Same ones that padded the Pockets of the regulators .
We the People need to demand these Tax cuts be extended , and a New tax schedule be designed , like this below , so that we might be able to start to develop new alternative industries and markets .
Why are we not demanding this type of incentive be put in place to drive supply-side economic fundamentals to feed the demand thats coming like a bullet ?

99.999% of the people who call themselves the Tea Party are not affiliated with any group, do not really know the difference between one tea party group or another, and simply commit to showing up, learning the right candidates to support, and supporting them.
We, the real Tea Party, were always concerned that there would be groups trying to seize something like control, or representation, or some validity as ‘leaders’ of the ‘movement’. Both are in quotes because we have no real leaders, we don’t NEED anyone to tell us how to feel or what to think or what our principles are, and our ‘movement’ is composed of GENUINE REAL AMERICA.
We are talked about on television as if the tea party was one of the fringes, and the ‘great middle’ were available to be convinced to support or oppose us.
but we ARE the great middle. We are the MAJORITY. We are the majority by FAR of republican voters, and on the issues that matter we are the majority in the polls too. We have, and need, NO LEADERS, NO GROUPS. I am glad the groups have organized and are doing what they do. But I am not a member of Tea Party Anything, not patriots or express or federation or whatever. I AM THE TEA PARTY. I will judge who to follow and what to do based on MY PRINCIPLES.
It is only gerrymandering that gives the left ANY safe seats these days. We are the majority, in every state, everywhere. We are AMERICA.
I think most of us are on the same frequency.
I hate to see these people playing right into Obama-lama-ding-dong’s hands, but that’s what they are doing. This is why I will support candidates I believe will give the power back to the people. I admire those in the Tea Party movement who have the same goals and will support candidates who also have those goals. Anyone else is just so much more flotsam and jetsam to dismiss as quickly as possible.
