I will never in my life forget that image of the Obama cultist in a wheelchair, surrounded by mounds of trash, with tumble weeds of garbage, in a sea of refuse and chaos, with the Smithsonian Castle behind her in the distance. On his first day in office, his followers created an indelibly prescient image of what his presidency would be, and what it would do to this country. Another thing, how many police did you see? I saw only a couple way off on horse back.
The comparison between the debris left behind by the one group & what was NOT discarded by “our people” speaks volumes about the caliber of character of those involved in both events, does it not? Obviously those who litter indiscriminately, without remorse or restraint, seem to feel no compelling sense of personal responsibility or accountability. In my opinion, (admittedly biased), I would say that those who were in attendance on 8/28 demonstrated respect & a desire to leave no destruction in their wake.
Andrea, so sorry we were unable to meet.. but for all the right reasons.. too many PEOPLE!!! So many that the cell phone service for the Mall area was pretty much collapsed. After Glenn asked for the donation for Special Ops Warrior Fund via a cell phone text msg, it took me a full half an hour to get that text sent. And I could not call or receive calls pretty much from beginning to end of the program.
I was about 200 yards back from the stage, on the left/south side of the pool, under the trees for shade, with a great view of the full stage.. didn’t get to see much of the video screens as they were blocked by trees, but I could wiggle around and see them when they were featured.
Powerful stuff. CL Jackson getting an award from GLenn Beck has to make the old civil rights bulls just pucker up. This is the NEW civil rights, and WE are the bulls. Like my friend Kevin Jackson says, this is “Emancipation II– this time even the white folks get freed!” 🙂
There is a God-shaped hole in the hearts of men, and progressives labor to fill it with some product of their own, to prove their own goodness, to redeem themselves. We know it cannot be done. Gotta put God in the God shaped hole and complete the soul. It isn’t any more complicated or theological than that. Beck has it JUST right. God and me, together, make me who I am SUPPOSED to be, and the same goes for God and America.
I am SO so glad you were able to come, and sorry it was such an ordeal… but I know the joy outshines the exhaustion… and now it’s recovery time. Back home. Time for a LOT of fresh starts.

in that, even if it was from a distant remove. What a powerful
message by all–and the singing was phenomenal also! I still
get chills thinking about it–not the “thrill running up my leg” as
Chris Matthews gets when listening to a teleprompter become
animated for the 1st time, but the REAL DEAL, the genuine article, something I am sure very few in the MSM have any real
knowledge of. Our God is a Loving, Living God & we worship him!
