IMT MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Institute for Military Technology is to collect, preserve, and interpret historically significant properties relating to the history of the U.S. Military Armed Forces for the purpose of educating the public about the technical and tactical development of armored warfare. The museum will also collect vehicles and other memorabilia that have significance to the area, both military and civilian. In performance of this Mission, the museum will prepare exhibits, conduct programs, and provide research assistance to the public and scholars. The museum will also provide a social and cultural venue for public and private organizations for their programs and events.
