I was on my second cup of coffee when the phone rang this morning. Bill Miller, author of The Tea Party Papers, on the other end, working the phones for Anna Little, candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 6th.
In a nutshell, here’s what Bill told me:
Our friend Lloyd Marcus has gone international, writing for the UK Guardian.
I read his first couple of posts — he drew over one-thousand commentaries on the first article.
Speaking of Lloyd, he’s coming to Asbury Park, New Jersey to do a event for Anna Little. Anna is running against a 22 – year incumbent — Frank Pallone — for the 6th NJ congressional district.
Lloyd met Anna at the Great Adventure event of Oct. 21 which was, incidentally, the Glenn Beck event that Jeff (Bruzzo), Jack and I live-streamed for Project Shining City, and was instantly impressed with her. You may recall he wrote an article about her the next day, which we all enjoyed reading.
Lloyd will be joined by other artists like Trade Martin, whose Blame it on Bush video Jeff Bruzzo co-produced.
Then there are our friends from Rahway, David Webb’s Tea Party365 band, who we filmed on 8th Avenue and in Philadelphia at the UNI-TEA event, and Ava Aston who we we also recorded at UNI-TEA. Ava and Rahway are also artists on Lloyd’s Tea Are the World album, recorded to benefit America’s Mighty Warriors, a charitable foundation.
Blog Talk Radio star Rueben Torres, of Lets Get Real with Rueben Torres, and Rosa Leonetti, of NJ Smart Girl Politics, will also be speaking at the event. And of course, Anna Little will be there. None of us wants to wake up on November 3rd to hear Anna lost by two points.
