So. . . the current admin’s policy re: airline security involves
sexual harassment/abuse of ALL travelers, including young
children & toddlers, yet exempts Muslims, especially those
females wearing burqas? How does this make sense? I am
offended on so many levels by this absurd “logic”!
You and me both, Elizabeth. This is why I have not flown in over 30 years and don’t plan to anytime soon. If I can walk, drive or ride the bus or train to get there, I don’t go.
I’m with you on that, Dottie! I will only travel by car or
(rarely, perhaps) by boat for a distant locale!! Have
not flown since well before 9/11 & I see no reason
to change my mind on that issue!!
Oops — I just reread my post and meant to say “if I CAN’T walk, drive, etc…….” Sorry for the confusion.
Not to fret, Dottie, you made yourself eminently clear; I see
we agree on the particulars of this issue! I heard an ugly
rumor that the current Obama Regime plans to introduce
some sort of exemption for Muslims, who might be offended
by being “frisked” in such a fashion or have their modesty
impinged upon by the technology of the scanners. Well, isn’t
that special–the majority of the terrorist attacks worldwide
over the past 25 years have been perpetrated by a dispor-
portionate number of Muslim Jihadis, yet we don’t want to
“ruffle their feathers”–how very thoughtful of us!!
Yes, I read the same ugly rumor. That sort of makes moot all the other “frisks” and “body scans” doesn’t it? Why bother if you aren’t going to check out the ones who REALLY do the dirty work??? This regime has NO common sense — but then we’ve known that all along.
No doubt about the lack of common sense, logic or reason
within the environs of the current regime. They all appear
to be sadly lacking in gravitas & also seem to be intellectually
challenged as well; the decision in the Ghalani case in civilian
court is a demonstration of the ineptness of their policies!
