GLENN: I’d like to play the audio now of a Democratic senator picked up by a microphone saying you know, talking about this, again, a Democratic senator talking about the system that we now have.
BENNET: It’s nothing about because it’s all rigged. I mean, the whole conversation is rigged, the conversation, the fact that we don’t get to a discussion before the break about what we’re going to do in the lame duck is just rigged. This stuff’s rigged.
PAT: I believe, I believe he uses the word “Rigged” either four or five times.
GLENN: And who he’s talking to, another senator, is also saying, yes, yes.
PAT: Yes, it is, yes, is rigged. The situation is the agenda has been rigged by the Democrats. And there’s a Democrat, Michael Bennet, from Colorado saying it, and just happened to be overheard with a live mic during a C Span broadcast.
GLENN: Now, this is after the voting of the Food Safety Act. With the Food Safety Act.
PAT: Yeah.
GLENN: Now, why would it possibly be rigged?
PAT: And he wanted, he wanted some discussion I think is all he wanted. He was wondering why they weren’t talking about it, why and they wouldn’t because it’s already been rigged.
GLENN: Well, no, but that’s ridiculous to say.
PAT: I know.
GLENN: Who would possibly rig something like that?
PAT: Well, we’re conspiracy theorists for pointing out that he said it.
GLENN: I don’t know why you have to point out that he said it. Who is this mysterious “He” that you keep referring to?
PAT: Senator Michael Bennet from Colorado.
GLENN: Just like you to come up with a name like that.
PAT: I know. Just pull it out of thin air.
GLENN: Thin air. And then, you know, show the audio. Who could possibly rig it? Who benefits from the Food Safety Act?
PAT: Hmmm. Where do you begin?
GLENN: Where do you begin?
PAT: Monsanto, I guess?
GLENN: Monsanto.
PAT: That would be a pretty good place to start.
GLENN: Who, who just upped their stock on Monsanto, and I believe it’s now the number one or number two investment of this individual?
PAT: Umm, gosh.
STU: It’s probably somebody older? I feel like an older person?
PAT: You feel like not originally from America?
STU: Maybe not, maybe not.
GLENN: I don’t know who you’re talking about. I have no idea. You conspiracy theorists are just because through the Tides Foundation which I fund the Apollo Alliance was born and they wrote the stimulus package, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Why would the Food Safety Act be written by any of my minions?
PAT: That’s just conspiracy talk. That’s all it is.
GLENN: That’s all it is.
PAT: It’s conspiracy talk.
GLENN: Well, no. I mean, it is conspiracy talk.
PAT: And anti Semitism.
GLENN: To come out and say that the system is rigged.

GLENN: I haven’t seen that anywhere.
PAT: I bet they play that over and over.
GLENN: Have you seen that?
PAT: I haven’t seen it yet but I’m sure they
GLENN: I haven’t seen it.
PAT: They are probably just queueing up the tape right now.
STU: They are saving it up so they can run it all midday.
GLENN: Have you seen it on Fox?
PAT: Actually I haven’t seen it on Fox, either.
STU: I haven’t watched Fox this morning but I’m sure they
GLENN: You have a Senator on the floor talking about how the whole system is rigged! That’s not news to anyone?
Why I’m SHOCKED! The Senate RIGGED??? REALLY???? (Of course, I’m saying this very “tongue-in-cheek” because it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that the party in control of the executive, senate and house are certainly NOT going to let a chance to push something through pass them by!)
