. . . . .
Late last night — actually early Tuesday morning at precisely 1:33 a.m. ET, I stepped outside to watch the lunar eclipse. But for the soft sound of waves on an outgoing tide, it was quiet in my neighborhood. The air was cold (47•) and clear, the sky was filled with diamonds. I didn’t have to wait long. The moon above me was a bright white globe, its lunar face wore a big grin. A shadow began filling in the eleven o’clock position, giving mister moon a jaunty beret.
I watched until the moon was a blood red orb, and the sky was awash with a veil of stars. Beautiful.

Thank you, Andrea. Another beautiful slice of life.
And, I liked the part about the “jaunty beret”!
