During my first tour with the Tea Party Express last April, I met Jeff McQueen, creator of the beautiful American Revolutionary flag that became the iconic symbol for the tea party movement.
As I quickly discovered, the banner was a camera magnet — wherever we rallied, whenever I waved that flag, cameras clicked and videocams rolled. The photo above appeared in the Boston Globe; the one below is the Syracuse NY Post-Standard.
Jeff is still making red white and blue waves, challenging Congress to declare the upcoming Groundhog Day a Global Warming Celebration to remove politics from real science.

Jeffrey Allan McQueen, President and Founder of USRevolution2.com and designer of the flag of the Second American Revolution (Betsy Ross with a Roman numeral “II”) is requesting the U.S. Congress declare Groundhog Day (February 2nd) a national climate change celebration, celebrating the annual return of “real” Global Warming, known throughout the World as Spring.
McQueen a former auto industry executive from Detroit, explained that Groundhog Day dates back to an ancient fertility ritual which often started on February 2nd when groundhogs across America came out of their holes and did not see their shadows, indicating Spring or “real” Global Warming was around the corner.
“In ancient times, Groundhog Day was actually a 13 day celebration leading up to Valentine’s Day, where folks in cold climates gave their significant others sweets. If all the rituals of Valentine’s Day were performed properly, the mating season would begin in the wee hours of February 15th, making the 13th day of the celebration very lucky day for many.”
Climate Change, formerly known as ‘Global Warming,’ is a hoax the Left would like to perpetrate on hardworking citizens in order to redistribute their wealth to managers of carbon exchanges like Al Gore.
“Congress should demand a full investigation of the hoax, and the fixed data from the University of East Anglia”, McQueen said. “If science were controlled by the Left in the 1400s, the World would still be flat, and countries would being paying taxes to keep from falling off the Earth”.
McQueen’s flag of the Second American Revolution has become a fresh symbol of the Tea Party movement rising across America since Tax Day 2009 and its national debut at U.S. Senator Scott Brown’s victory rally in Boston’s Park Plaza Hotel on January 19, 2010 (as evidenced in a recently released book: Boiling Mad, written by Pulitzer Prize winning writer Kate Zernike of the New York Times).

That is a great idea! We don’t have a festival to let the ignorant masses know when Spring is arriving, so our government needs to inform us when it is a change of seasons. Ground Hog Day as the official global warming event would tweak the solemnity of those predicting climate doom.
