From The Blaze…
An AP story reports that Israel is considering ways to allow Google Street View to photograph Israeli cities, despite concerns that the service could be used to plot terror attacks. Not sure why Israel would want to open up the skies to Google’s street views — dangerous enough that Google’s satellite views are available to all.
Street View allows users to take a virtual tour of a location. It’s already available in 27 countries, and has sparked controversy about personal privacy.
I’ve written about it several times in my weekly column Surfin’ Safari, which is published each Monday at WorldNetDaily.
This week, my lead story is something Rush is talking about on his show today — an alarming report that shows that the U.S. government is offering private intelligence companies contracts to create software to manage “fake people” on social media sites and create the illusion of consensus on controversial issues.
Brings to mind Operation Mockingbird.
Watch for it TODAY on the Diversions page at WND.
