Anarchy

. . . . .

I’m watching the absolute anarchy taking place in the halls of the Wisconsin State Capitol, as police begin the task of removing hairy hippies from the hallways.

Gov. Scott Walker is on camera, calmly talking about the budget which hasn’t been passed yet. The Capitol Police have placed the building on lock-down as protesters try to push their way inside to disrupt the day’s legislative business. It’s reported they’re being checked for weapons.

Are we Americans? Legislators are pinned in their offices, in fear of their physical safety.  Doors handcuffed shut, creating a potential catastrophe if fire erupted.

If I would fault Gov. Walker for anything, it would be that he didn’t call in the National Guard to augment the Capitol Police to yank these ignoramusses out on their asses, secure the building, and public opinion be damned.

This scenario looks like some Third World country.  Americans?  For shame.

  1. The cooperation of the local police with these thugs is the part that bothers me most. It was always likely they’d mob up and try to overwhelm the places where the decisions are made, but it’s appalling to see cops helping them and standing aside for them.. FOP members, that’s the only possible reason.

Bring in the National Guard, arrest a few cops for not doing their jobs.

  2. The cops can be fired for either “insubordination” or “dereliction of duty”. Both of those charges are just as serious in the police world as they are in the military world.
